Just tryin to be optimistic Same here. My heart gets broken alot and it feels like I'm going to always remain alone, I still keep trying. Even try to improve myself. I'm currently taking kickboxing to get myself back into shape.

What would be the point in me giving up? I just wait until I feel ready to meet someone new. There are still men out there with very sweet personalities, so that encourages me to want to date again.

Sure about that, Navy Girl? Everybody have something to bring to the table one way or the other. I am 100% sure that I can bring nothing to the table which is why I keep myself so busy that I wouldn't even have time to date. Also, never having been married; men don't want anything to do with me so its a sealed deal.

Hey brother I think your wrong about you and navygirl. Why wouldn't someone want to be with a person thats down to earth, knowledgeable, and really nice. Enough, your life expierence, health problems, and mental clarity would be attractive to someone who's looking for something real. When it comes right down to it you got to be able to look at the person across the table from you and be able to connect with them.You have reality and the sense of how fragile life is and the importance of living in the now. Navy girl has , independence. and a down to earth personality that makes you feel like you could tell her anything. Most of us are on this site because we are single and desire something real. I wish you luck if you wish me luck, god bless you my friend.

You don't know what you are missing until you try harder. Nobody knows what God has stored for us(in others words we dont know what the future holds). You might say i am incredulously optimistic but what i say is i am purely practical. Just have faith

Need to set the story straight! Before Leigh ever came into the picture, ManO and me were a happy couple. I worship him still and I know when he is done with her evil ways he will be back in my arms. I've saved all of your gifts and letters ManO, and wait for the day we can once again bathe in the bliss of our love. Shortly after this post was written a fly landed on MG's nose and woke him up. "was I dreaming, or do I really have a chance with ManO MG thinks" The morning rolls on and after a shower MG realizes he's not into guys and regrets ever writing the post, but it was too late. I am very practical and I don't believe in fairy tale endings. This is how life is and I graciously accept it for how it is. The End. I can't give up. If I give up then he wins. I can't get back the 20 yrs I gave to someone who didn't love and appreciate me, but I have my future. If I give up then I'm giving him my future also. I can't give up or every negative thing he said about me will be true. I know what he said about me is not true so I have to live that way. Can't give up. If a sorry, cruel man like him can be in my life for 20 yrs that didn't love me. Surely, there is at least one decent, loving man in this entire world that does.

I've almost given up on this site. I've tried connecting with many people here and no luck at all. I'm a good and honest man. Anyone else had this problem?
