Apologies in advance for not sounding or being very sympathetic here. But this needs to be a lesson for the ladies(and men)who are constantly going for style over substance. Constantly dismissing the good guy with a great personality who's a one-woman man, a lot of women I meet seem to be looking for a man who MUST, no exceptions, possess, at the very least, one of these qualities:
1-Rich
2-A job making at least $100,000 yearly
3-At least 6 ft 2 in tall
4-Built like a brick outhouse
5-Major hobby MUST be either musician or biker(preferably both)
6-Must have kids and an ex. Can't do without the drama, can we?

Bitter? Not really. I freely admit to not falling into ANY of the above categories. Listen, ladies, no one's perfect. And remember the age-old saying:

Anything that sounds too good to be true, usually is.

Interesting fact: Ladies usually give me the most flak, believe it or not, for failing to meet requirement #6. "But EVERYONE over 40 is SUPPOSED to have kids and AT LEAST ONE ex-wife!"

Guess I was absent the day they taught that in Adult Life Science class.

Actually, MsTeddyBear, I wasn't referring to anyone on this site, as I haven't met anyone here in person(yet). I was talking about local women I've met over the years that has nothing to do with this site. From reading posts and chatting with quite a few people on here, I end up wishing that more of you all lived closer to here. We need good people in Knoxville!

They are, MsTeddyBear, and you're right, of course. I DO seem to meet the wrong people locally. It's a lonely search. But as long as people like you and others are here sharing their thoughts, opinions, and feelings, I really feel a lot less lonely these days.

Thank you all!!!!!

you are quiet right there are a lot of cheats out in this big old world, one of the sad things it is not always easy to spot them.that guy may be serious about wanting you, that young lady may be serious about just being lonely, the could both be looking for some company for awhile rather than sitting at home alone. on the other hand they could leave their partner at home while they are out playing. just take each encounter as a new and seperate experience, if you listen closely to what they say you can usually spot the bad apples.

My ex cheated on me with a 5 hundred pound heifer!
No kidding, the only thing that appeared female was the breasts. Quite sad i must say!
They deserved each other, he wasn't that attractive in the first place. In time you will realize that the frustration you feel are problems that aren't even yours. You did the right thing by being loyal and truthful, be proud of yourself. Let the loser go.

well, it seems to me most guys do cheat. Its just in their nature to want more than one girl. I married my best friend and still had that problem. Maybe dont be so trusting next time. Sorry ur havin a hard time, I completely understand.
