I need to rant.
I'm sorry, but I just don't understand why people are so ridiculous sometimes. I was dating this guy for barely a week, and things were going just fine...until tonight. I got a phone call from some girl, completely freaking out. Apparently he never broke up with his girlfriend. He'd told me they broke up and he was in the process of moving out....HAH! What a liar. It makes me sick...because of what he did, and because I was naive and stupid. Me and my fiance broke up mainly because he cheated on me, so it enrages me that I was the "other girl"...knowingly or not, it doesn't really matter.
I guess I've just never understood the concept of cheating. If you don't want to be with just that one person, then be single so you can do whatever you want, with whoever you want! Or at least have an understanding with that person that you want a very open relationship.
I've always been a very loyal woman. I dated a soldier, and I was always completely dedicated to him, and I just really don't understand how people can cheat. If you have even just the desire to cheat, then obviously something is wrong in the relationship and you either need to 1)break things off or 2)try to work things out.
Is it REALLY that hard to be faithful? I guess in a marriage it'd be more complicated, but still...

I just needed to get that out!

ohhhhhhhh I forgot to tell you.......he sent me roses once and a card.....so when I found this out.....I mailed the card to her.....and all of his Love you bla bla in it!!!! Hmmmm he wasnt very happy!!!! But again...he would come over and i would make him buy me things......hahaha ohhhhhhhhhhhh sweet revenge.....was funny, I couldnt figure out why he was such a stupid idiot but oh well!!!!

they always have ...always will...it's the structures of Patriarchal religions that have made it taboo...and you all bought it hook, line, and sinker.

now i know it's not that easy to undo 3000 years of patriarchal conditioning

Annnd ya know, it has nothing to do with religion, it's about human emotions. When you have that special connection someone, you want them to be all yours, and visversa. At least, that's my personal opinion.

I think some men feel as if they are missing out on something by just being with ONE woman. I don't know...it will be better somewhere else. I agree with you though, if your not happy in your relationship and you feel as if it's better "over there" then someething is definately wrong. I know this was no help, but...I agree with you.

dont give up hope and you are right... why cheat ... its stupid and if u do cheat like you said something is wrong with the person you are with.. its not worth it..

no nothing to do with religion.....but it was enforced by the patriarchal systems of religion and politics for quite some time...it's about ownership.


OWNERSHIP...no one has the right to claim ownership over another human being. Or to dictate who they can see or not see. Or command obedience, honesty or anything else for that matter.

If a person loves you, they will be with you.

Maybe you are attracted to what you are familiar with...like most humans....maybe you grew up watching the devious working of other's relationships.. their lies and deceptions, maybe you grew up with a father that did that so you are attracted to someone like your father.



we all know the soaps sure do make it look pretty normal....

you have no idea how insideously you have been programmed to unconsciously play out the mechanisms that you have been raised to build and are running on auto pilot.

when you see a pattern like this ....don't look at the perp


look at how you are attracting and orchestrating the same thing, over and over into your life. and get some coaching.

Cheating sucks...
Unfortunately there is alot of it out there...
You deserve better and will find better...
Be glad for finding out sooner than later...

I have found one beautiful lady here, I may talk to and flirt with other ladies on here but LAMom is still my one and only, and always will be.

I have even told them to let me know if they want someone else and I would glad let them have divorce or what ever and they still go behind your back.... one told me it was to see how many he could have at once.... revenge was sweet when all 13 got in a room and he walked in... wow he walked away smaller than an ant.

Count your blessings that you learned this before you'd invested anything real......

I do not understand the concept of cheating. I would never do that to anyone that I cared about. If I did not care about him, I wouldn't be with him anyway.
