Topic: why do we lie?

I dont lie in personal affairs not to say I have NEVER lied but as life goes on and I learn and grow, I have other skills like the ability to listen and the option to not speak which make not lying pretty simple a thing to do unfortunately, employment sometimes calls for us to lie through omisssion, I think lying is usually the sign of a fear of or refusal to face the consequences of that thing we are lying about

why do you lie? what makes you lie? I try not to ever lie. It is too much work to remember what you lied about and I am lazy.
