What do you think is the best anime movie of all time? My vote goes to Akira.

Movie..........Jin Roh or Grave of Fireflies. Graves of Fireflies is a very different style and doesn't feel like typical anime, but the story is timeless. I also think it is important to see how wars affect other countries besides our own. We often forget that there are innocent civilians both sides!

The Full Metal Alchemist movie! So you have to watch the show to understand it, but its still awesome, esp seeing Greed as a giant blob of death!

I didn't think I'd like Howl's Moving Castle, I was pleasantly surprised. Same goes for Steamboy.

I think we need to try for round 2. There is very few of us anime fans out here.
Escaflowne. I did not like the movie in itself, but the visuals and artistry was well crafted. |

There is this really fantastic theater on Central NE, MPLS, MN It is the oldest movie theater in MN. It often plays old classic films, huge block busters trilogies, independent films, and so forth.
Well, the 1st time I ever went to that theater it was to see Vampire hunter D: Bloodlust. The theater is pack. It was loud and noisy. This theater only has one screen which is covered behind huge burgundy curtains. As everyone is waiting for the curtains to open, this middle aged man walks up to the stage and sits down. He is sitting in front of this ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………old church style organ. He begins to play some organ music that I did not recognize. He plays 1-2-3 different songs. I do not know for certain. All I notice is the stunned expressions of the crowd. It was truly comical. I wish I had a camera. He completes his song/songs. Everyone begins to clap uncertainly, but at least they are clapping. I enjoyed Vampire hunter D: Bloodlust immensely, but I think that I enjoyed it more as a result of that experience in the theater. All through the movie, I kept chuckling to myself when ever I thought of the audience’s reaction to organ music. |

Oh, how could I forget Ghost in the Shell. That's was great!
Perfect Blue was a great thriller. There was one scene that was TOO GRAPHIC for my personal threshold, but I must admit it was still a great movie. |
