I loved Trigun And Cowboy Bebop! I cried on the last ep of CB too

I've only seen a couple episodes of CB. I saw the movie and it is great. I haven't seen trigun, but it is on my list of many movies/anime I want to see.
So, what was did you like about CB? |

The cool thing about it that I liked, is the interesting characters, they are almost clique when talked about (a retired cop, a geeky kid, a hopeless romantic and a femme fatal) but they all have really good back stories. But you could watch the show from any point and still not feel like you missed anything. Every ep is like a diffy story. Some are funny, and some are serious, but it keeps it even mostly.

It's not depressing. It is thought provoking. Granted, it is not all cutsey whatsy.

The closest to a thinking anime I've watched is "Big O" and that made no sense to me lol. I like more of the action and comedy animes =D
