I remember Rand being in one of the other shows, but don't rememember which one. I do remember she had a small, non-speaking roll in Star Trek The Movie.

I remember Rand being in one of the other shows, but don't rememember which one. I do remember she had a small, non-speaking roll in Star Trek The Movie. Janice Rand gained a Starfleet commission and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. She served as the communications officer of the USS Excelsior, which was commanded by Captain Hikaru Sulu. Rand's service on the Excelsior was featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Flashback".

Well if we're ranking scifi purely by hot women I'll take Linda Harrison as Nova(Planet Of The Apes '68) over any of them.

what i don't get about about TNG, whenever Picard said "fire at will", nobody shot riker... That is because the show wasn't written and directed by David Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and Jerry Zucker (the men who wrote and directed the movie Airplane!).

Star Wars tends to lack hot women wearing sexy-looking uniforms, which is a reason to favor Star Trek. Now, name which Star Trek series other than TOS that Janice Rand appeared on. Oh, here is the original Star Trek babe: These ladies must not have been very tall. I had to add 4 inches to my skant so it wouldn't be up to my stomach.

I have always enjoyed star wars better. There's more action,shootouts,and good vs evil. Not to mention the force.

Star trek by faaaaaar! Star wars is a cartoon compared to trek!!!! To me star wars was star trek for kiddies. Ugh it's obvious!!!! BLASHEMY!!! Though I must admit the prequels are incredibly bad and I only watched the first one.
