Even though the second trilogy of Star Wars isn't remotely as good as the original, I do like the second two films, especially Revenge Of The Sith which is a fantastic movie.

Even though the second trilogy of Star Wars isn't remotely as good as the original, I do like the second two films, especially Revenge Of The Sith which is a fantastic movie. They did seem to get progressively better, didn't they... Episode I: All Jar-Jar, all the time. Episode II: Less Jar-Jar, yet he somehow managed to play a key roll in granting Palpatine even more power in the Senate. Episode III: We see Jar-Jar only twice, and his only line is "Excuse me." Also, it's hard to beat Yoda vs Palpatine in a lightsaber battle. |

I think Lucas was hoping Jar Jar would have become franchisable like the Ewoks in the 80's(with their dolls, TV movies, and Saturday morning show). Maybe Jar Jar's one line "Excuse me." was Lucas' way of apologizing for...nah, probably not. |

Star Wars tends to lack hot women wearing sexy-looking uniforms, which is a reason to favor Star Trek.
