Keep voting the same cocksuckers back to office and none of this will ever change.

They raided the wrong house!

And the gun grabbers wonder why we need semi-autos with more than 10 rounds! frustrated slaphead

It's hard to say who's right in that heavily slanted article. One might think from reading that garbage that President Obama personally directed the raid.

These wrong-address raids happen from time to time. It's horrible, and I'm sure the agencies involved review their processes in order to prevent that mistake in the future, but they're also dealing with some really slimy people to get the information they use. Hard to imaging they'd get it right every time, that way.

I don't have a problem with the DOJ backing up law enforcement organizations, too. I'm sure that family got an apology and even cash to cover damage to their home, however, I doubt the police will quit considering 11-year-old girls as potential threats. Do you think a girl that age couldn't use a weapon, nor feel compelled to use it in defense of her parents? No. Everybody has to be cuffed until they can sort it out.

Lastly, you seriously want to use the idea of shooting at police for a reason for bigger magazines? It's those crazy, powerful guns that make the police go to these no-knock raids at all.

Actually if I may put a lean on this. First of all what right has a bunch of GOONS have when they raid ANYONE'S house to treat young children the way they did? Adrenalin? the rush? their training?

First of all if I was the commander in charge of that operation in the course of dealing with the PR headaches this created I would have the officers who put a gun to a CHILD'S HEAD put on administrative leave and put through a psychological evaluation before allowing him back on duty at all! Likewise the officers who rousted the sleeping girl would be on two weeks disciplinary leave and FORCED to apologize to the girl and her parents PERSONALLY as well as the tactical officer who was in charge of moving in on the house!! HIS TEAM SCREWED UP! I would be VERY public about their punishment. BUT THAT IS HOW I WOULD HANDLE IT! I WOULD DEMAND DECORUM THESE MEN WILL NOT OPERATE BY!

You are right, the wrong houses get raided here and there. But first of all they need to handle people differently, especially children. Yes these men have all the right in the world to be nervous as a caged cat surrounded by starving pit bulls. But these men are supposed to be trained professionals, not High School Football stars! If they were busting up terrorists I would be all for them applying liberal doses of the boot! But to put the boot to children? We don't live in Africa!

On top of that what right has the law to utilize military assets on Civilians? the local PD is not allowed full autos or high power for law enforcement. What makes the Fed so special? And then to boot the after math... Those girls are SO traumatized now! And for what?
A small cadre of men with guns can feel big and important and special? A little boost to the ego and testosterone?

BTW, police have yet to really come across someone really doing bad and really set up to handle them. The tactic the police like to use is really called "immediate and overwhelming subdual." Likewise many PD forces have snipers now. Los Angeles county SWAT has at least one 50BMG sniper rifle in its armory! A 30.06 will shoot through walls. A 50BMG will shoot through buildings!

So what is up with that?

If that were really the case, there would be FEWER such "errors' over time, not more. If you check the stats, I'm sure you'll find that "errant" police shootings & raids occur more & more often as time goes on.
