I have a friend that visited the Philippines several times. He's actually found a woman willing to marry him. He has a great deal of trouble dating. He's sort of short and fat and bald. I've tried to convince him that these are HIS problems and has nothing to do with attracting women, but he just can't develop the confidence he needs. But, I'm afraid after they get back here and she's gotten legal status to stay permanently she'll leave him and he'll have to pay her alimony for who knows how long.
I think the trick is to go to the Philippines and allow the girls to think you're looking for a wife and reap the benefits. My manicurist says I should go to Vietnam because here I'm not rich, but there I am. She said "you find woman there. YOUNG woman. LOL As if I can't find one here. |

Filipinos are hardworking, curious thereby adventurous,.we also have our share of "rotten ones"which also exists EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD..but one thing im so proud of, is the family values..no matter how the world changes,deep in the heart of every filipino, is a banal love for family,we all head home for christmas and touch base..

I think folks who think just because some people are desperate in some places that all will be willing to take a substandard "Deal" are kidding themself. There will be costs and a std now days is a mild conseqeunce when you go over seas looking for "love".
From what I am hearing from a second neice in the Fillipeans the economy is in the tank, crime is a serious problem, and families are really having a tough time. That while they are grateful for the tourism dollars things a dicey and you get over there and offend someone in power you are in a very dangerous situation. Hopefully our Mingle family there are fairing well. Merry Christmas. |

oh well, some things you said are true. but some of us have a better qualification. i all i can say is, if you get here you must know the person first. inside and outside. others take advantges.

One of the friends I've made from Mingle is Filipino. Anything negative you hear about the Philippines is Western prejudice.
