I used to even advertise on Facebook until they sold out to the large corporations and their advertising costs became ridiculous and face book itself became nothing short of a stalker with their promotions and ads.

Everywhere you go on the Internet you will see a stupid facebook logo and link, even for products and articles. But you have to be a member of facebook to access the product or article! Its like they want to own the actual Internet and make it into a facebook network.

I say they can go screw themselves. They have become big brother and a bankster tool of spying and control. But mostly they just want to make money.

I agree.. you see them EVERYwhere.. similar to others too like LinkedIn.. you HAVE to be a member to view any info.. it's really beginning to seem that FREE doesn't mean the same anymore.. EVERYthing has a price.. but one's personal security and opinion shouldn't be part of that cost!!

like you.. I refuse to allow myself to be bamboozled into believing the crap some are trying to shove down our throats.. for them it seems.. scamming is legal and we're all just sheeple! whoa

for a world that is supposedly progressing into the future.. it sure seems more like it's digressing 'socially' instead ohwell

Yeh LinkedIn is another annoying data base. I think they have a page on me or my business, and I'm not sure if I found out how to get rid of it.

It's surprising how much Facebook knows even about the people who don't belong to it:

Yes I hated those features where a network informs all my "friends" what I'm doing and who I know etc.

geeeeze.

I downloaded a special browser just for FB.. so they didn't get anything from me as I never used it for anything else.. I have 3 other browsers I use and only one for everyday.. I set my security on the highest possible levels and refuse to register for a sight that asks TOO much OR allows for too many possible security risks.. I prefer my privacy and peace of mind.. I've blocked all access to FB too once I deleted it.. those I DID get afterwards in an effort to get me to re-join were finally blocked as "spam" bigsmile

oh and.. I never did use the "search for friends" option.. NO one should be able to access my email other than moi!

Facebook now appears to be censoring the "pros" in the gun debate.

http://www.prisonplanet.com/facebook-purges-pro-gun-accounts.html

People posting stuff like the picture below appear to be having their accounts suspended.

Do you think it's possible that "someone" might be trying to stifle one side in the gun debate?

I think it's possible that MANY "someones" want to control far too many things.. ohwell

I guess "they" have to trample your first amendment rights before they can trample the second. Funny...I thought it was gonna be the other way around.
