Apparently Jamie Foxx is still obsessed with his black messiah Obama
Posted by The Right Scoop on December 10th, 2012 Jamie Foxx just can’t stop talking about his lord and savior Barack Obama, who he says will be acting more true to his black half in his 2nd term than he did in his first term. According to Foxx, black is now the new white. Yeah, all we need is more divisive speech about race in this country from people with a large platform. Well if that isn’t enough, Foxx also jokes about how he kills all the white people in his upcoming new move. “How great is that” he says (via Newsbusters): Here’s the transcript in case you can’t stand the sound of Foxx’s voice: JAMIE FOXX: My name is Jamie Foxx. Give it up, give it up, New York City, Saturday Night Live. Come on, make some noise, man. New York City, New York City, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, it’s crazy. I’m black, and I’m dressed all black cause it’s good to be black. Black is the new white. I’m telling you, how black is this right here? Nice fly, I’m saying. You know how I know black is in right now? Cause the Nets moved to Brooklyn. How black is that? They got black jerseys, black court. I mean, how black is that? And Jay-z is the owner, a rapper. How black is that? And Jay-z only own about this much of the team. But he act like he own all of New York. How black is that? And I got a movie coming out, “Django,” check it out. Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson. “Django Unchained” I play a slave. How black is that? And in the movie I had to wear chains. How whack is that? But don’t be worried about it because I get out the chains, I get free, I save my wife, and I kill all the white people in the movie. How great is that? And how black is that? But I’m going to tell you right now, speaking of blackness, my President, President Obama is back up in the White House four more years. How black is that? And not only that, he’s so black, he was playing basketball during the Election Day. How black is that? But he was also late for his acceptance speech. Okay, all the white people, this is your turn – how black is that? But he going to be extra black this next four years. He going to get everything black, and white people, don’t get nervous about that because he is mixed. Now the first four years was the white side of him, because I don’t know if you saw him on Ellen when he was dancing and everything. I don’t know what this is. That wasn’t President Obama, that was President Barry Gibb Obama. But the next four years he’s even changing his name from to President Barack Dikembe Mutombo Tupac Mandela Hussein Obama X. How black is that? And the next time you see him dancing on Ellen, he gonna be dancing like this. The way the Democrats played the race card this year on multiple issues (voter ID, disagreeing with Obama, etc), it wouldn’t surprise me if they are trying to get this divisive language more into the pop culture and someone like Jamie Foxx is helping make that happen. Just a guess. http://www.therightscoop.com/apparently-jamie-foxx-is-still-obsessed-with-his-black-messiah-obama/ |

obsesseion,,,
tasteful irony in this post,,,, interesting note: a skit on 'how black is that' is a democratic ploy what is the ongoing hugely popular 'you might be a redneck' gimmick? republican or democrat? it seems to be a testament when black folks belittle black folks, like cosby or chris rock have done,, and its funny when 'rednecks' crack about redneckery like the blue collar comedy team (whom I happen to love btw) why is this so different or controversial? |

Hahaha. |

Comedy is art. Art is expression. Freedom of speech sometimes fails us, and comedy is sometimes the only way to make a point, to poke fun at the world and ourselves. If you don't understand it, don't like it, just don't watch it.

Is this how bad it has gotten for the conservative right's need to grab at strings? Because when I think about thought provoking political speeches, my first thought is a late night skit comedy show.
How pathetic. SNL really? Maybe the Republican party really is dying if this is the best you can do. |

Their wounds are self inflicted. |

If you don't understand it, don't like it, just don't watch it. Ever heard the expression, "a joke is 9/10 truth"? There are plenty who were once on our "do watch" list who will now be on our "don't watch" list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tk5KAWdwPpE 2012 SOUL TRAIN AWARDS/ JAMIE FOXX CALLS BARACK OBAMA "OUR LORD & Savior" Nov. 26,2012 It caused an uproar with many in attendance. If it was a joke, it was in very poor taste. |

It appears to me that, in complaining about Jamie Foxx's SNL commentary, someone is making a mountain out of a mole hill.
I don't expect that many Republicans will be making a fuss over anything that Foxx has said about the current President of the USA. Extremists in the Republican Party may make a fuss, but ordinary Republicans are too busy having lives, and Foxx doesn't even appear on their social radar. |

If it was a joke, it was in very poor taste. I don't think that remark was supposed to be anything but sarcastic. The night Obama won, they were playing a song in the background on the channel I was watching. It was "Joy to the world" but it was instrumental. As the camera closed in on Obama's face, the words I heard in my head were words to the song as I knew the song well. The camera zoomed into Obama's face while I was singing the words: "May earth receive her King." I thought that was quite strange. It is not just some comedian who was hailing Obama as the savior... of the world. He was just making fun of that idea, but maybe he even believed it. In any case, it is a joke and I find it not only funny I find the joke to be a satire. |

And all the talk of Obama being the savior, I knew at the time, was going to ruffle a lot of Christian's feathers. But if you watched the looks on the faces of the people in the crowd the night he won, you would have seen that people were worshiping him as the savior.
It was all over and in the faces. People were crying. I'm surprised they were not bowing down on their knees. |

Some write their own skits or come up with them, but is more likely the skit was written for him. I am sure it was ajob he was paid for in this instance. Besides on the christianity side of things with christian beliefs would have to believe we are judged in the end, therefore in essence he will be judged just as I will. Hopefully, the maker has a sense of humor in the end. |

I highly doubt that the writers would insist that a comedian do anything they are not comfortable with, and I would be willing to bet that many comedians participate in writing the skits. After all it is the comedian's image and reputation being presented. They don't just do as they are told like puppets. Only presidents and politicians do that. LOL |

Jamie Fox so called obsession pales in comparison to the millions of posts iv read even more so after reelection. So obsessed that some want to secede from the union. One guy has posted an Obama post for years, all anti of course. No one is more obsessed with him more then right wingers, conservatives, republicans and the racist crackpots who are just spitefull that all their attempts to hamstring his reelection failed. And of course Trump, Obamas biggest fan.
