I hate to say it dude, but, a thirty year old woman, working in a restaurant, with a fifteen year old kid, and a sick mother in Mexico? Take it very slowly and be very careful.

Maybe if the guy is really nice, active and has lots of Money and is generous. I thought better of you than THIS... This is my Opinion and nothing is wrong with it. Why single me out and talk about my response!

Hey your not a fossil. If it works you will be experienced enough to give her a good life and be a positive influence on her son, and if it doesn't work then well I'm sure you've been down that road before. Either way good luck to you my friend.

One should go for it, but one should also proceed with caution, gold digger plus a green card are common motivations with woman and men as well with dual nationalities. As for Hugh Heffner with a woman 60 years his junior is a perfect example of rich man, young gold digger.

Given her age and her child's age and where she is from it would sound likely that she had no choice but to come to the USA to make a living. If she is employed chances are still good that she is sending money home maybe for parents, maybe siblings, or other children but more likely paying off a coyote that can make your life really miserable if you get attached to her and don't want to pay her "debts" off that she has not owned up too. But again she may just want a stable life and find you and your age not that big a deal where younger women often marry older. And do become the traditional stay at home wife. One thing you may want to think about is if she has some kind of chronic health issues. If she is staying and working here it may be because she needs the free public health care here. Sadly women that worked the fields at young ages have been exposed to all kinds of pesticides, back injuries, lung problems, and sadly STD's and sexual assaults that later manifest in OBGYN cancers. Medical expenses which could easily bankrupt you if she is traditional and you both look for marriage. Last but not least you may want to consider how your "family", friends, neighbors, and even employers will respond to this relationship. It is not uncommon for predjudice and jealousy to rear it's ugly head and make life miserable for spouses that marry non-citizens. On both sides of the border. If you go in really addressing all that you may just luck out.

The only opinions that would matter are my kids. Two of them are older than her. I will update later. Right now, all is just hopeful speculation. If I don't hear from her this week, I will see her on Saturday and attempt to nail her down to taking her and her boy out to dinner and/or a movie. No, not to nail her just yet. She is legal so, she doesn't need a sponsor. Her kid goes to school here and I will dare to assume is an anchor-brat. Not only will I need to get to know her, I'll have to get to know the boy as well. I will drop her like a hot tater if the kid is a wannabe gangster type. If, he is humble and respectful like his Mamma, that would be icing. We could get along.

You sound seriously interested in this girl already. I say there is a good chance she may be. So far you didn't talk too much about her looks, but I am sure she is attractive. You talked mainly of her personality and the way she is, her morals and such. She seems nice. I say its up in the air. You seem open with this girl and you're actually talk about how fond you are of her. That's a good sign. Fossils have a history of knowledge behind them. Plus you don't stalk your exes on FB or try to be something you're not from what I've seen. We'll see. If you show genuine interest then its always a good sign. I hope she calls you! Thanks. Actually, 2 of my exes are friends of mine on FB. The first exes husband just got out of bypass surgery and is doing well. He sang at my 2nd oldest daughters wedding last year. He's pretty good. Yeah but you didn't add them to follow them I am sure. Interesting. I guess you made it work so everyone gets along. Good luck sir!
