Just been messaging with someone claiming to be from Texas. They started off nice and seemed to make sense. Then I tried to ask what city they were close to, as I had never heard of the city they claim to be from. He said "Texas". I asked again he said "yes 132 miles". THEN he says California! Then he messages me introducing himself and says he thinks we can "start in friendship". This is a guy dressed up in an army uniform! UGH!!!

ya and sometimes if you lead them a little it can be pretty funny

When I first read the title of this thread, I thought that it referred to breast implants.

I like to lead the scammers on, and then ask them for money.

Oh yea, I have been here for years. Just don't get on too much anymore. Learned that lesson a long time ago.

I don't know what it is about Texas but I've had loads of spam from people with that as their location.

Yeah, it can be fun to play them at their own game. I was telling one the other night how I fear that we will never be together and consumate our love because of the great distance keeping us apart. It gets boring though and I tend to just tell them now that it's nice of them to get in touch but there's really no way that I can date someone that lives thousands of miles away and I don't usually talk to people from other countries on dating sites because of scammers.

Send the Texans my way! I only know a few and they are just really good friends. I would love to mess with a scammer in my own state! I get the ones from places I can't pronounce or remember how to spell.

I know the temptaion is to just mess with their mind but these people are better at it than you will ever be and don't kid yourself while you think you are messing with them they are getting just that much more bits and pieces of useful info from you. If nothing else it is helping them learn how to speak like and American.

and thats why you should make up words to help them learn english and act like its a common word.:P
