Have had quite a few from Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya?
First claim to be somewhere in the states,
then admit to not being in the states.
Then they are somewhere in Africa on some sort of humanitarian thing.
Then comes the sob story about their tragically deceased family.
Then....gee...send money for the phone, or food, or help bribe the
officials who have confiscated the passport/visa.

Sometimes great fun to play with when things are slow , and sometimes a total aggravation .

I too have had some strange ones from Ghana and Nigeria, but purporting to be from the United States and, would you believe, one from England who claimed, by some weird coincidence, to live here in my town. Rather strange that they knew nothing about it. They always give themselves away sooner or later, and are not difficult to spot.

Far better to be totally honest, then there is absolutely nothing to fear.

Couple days ago a nice man emailed me. Great profile and by his answers I can tell he been reading some of my Posts. Hmmmmm Wonder if he is for Real. Time will tell.
