Find it hard to:

Pick the right time to see a movie with a friend or somebody new.

Find somebody to go out with.

Other.

right now my friend is being a so called a$$ about picking a time to see a movie lol, funny it seem's to happen all the time. If not that it's the place to see a movie at. Crazy.

what about any of you all.

Why not rent one? Then the timing is not as critical.

I usually go to movies alone ... the time is easy to figure out but I can't always agree with myself on what to see


Don't wait for others to live the life you want. If they are available to share in the experience great. If not, have fun and do it anyway

I agree with ArtGurl, life will pass you by if you keep waiting for someone to do things with. My problem is that I hesitate and by the time I get around to the movie, it is usually out of the theatre by then. I try and do things that I want.

I get what your all saying.

But you can not rent brand new released movies that just went to the box offical is all I was getting at.

what is a movie? and tv is just a vehicle for watching football on, is it not?

I knew what you meant John. I was talking about the movie theatre

or retaurants
or coffee shops
or art galleries
or walks along the river

I do it all alone ... once you are confortable with your own company you are free to enjoy a lot more things if you aren't waiting for a friend to be available.

Would I prefer someone to share experiences with ... sure most of the time but I still have a life to live.

I'm a lot like artgurl in regards to this subject. I use to work nights so it was near impossible to get together w/ friends. I started going to the movies and is great. I still enjoy going w/ family & friends, but I also enjoy simply being on my own at at times.

John - Don't read too much into it w/ your friend. There are times when a person's life get alitte too hetic. Because timing and travel matter to your friend. I recommend just renting and go to his house or vice versa! It not so much what you do w/ your friend, but simply spending time w/ your friend.

I get what your saying alexiateigra, but my friend sometimes act like a big a$$ and that is putting it nicely, not trying to be rude but I guess all friends have there up's and down's etc.
