      In a salad I just like my torn into regular bite size pieces. I read somewhere that it's better to tear them off the main plant than to cut them off as they brown quicker when sliced off with a knife for some reason.  But on a sandwich after I pull a chunk off the main plant I almost always like lettuce shredded as fine as I can    | |

      I love my lettuce!
 I also like it shredded, I put so much in a bowl of chili, it is chili salad. Mmm, baby spinach leaves, warm Caesar dressing, egg, bacon.. Somebody stop me. | |

      Geez Soufie you can't stop there... you gotta add the tomatoes  I never thought of heating up the Caesar dressing, thanks for the tip on that. It should hit the spot on a cold winter's evening   | |

      I like mine with the works. . .bite size lettuce add tomatoes,green onions,bell pepper,radis hes,cucumbers,baby carrots,black olives,mushrooms, cheese and a small amount of ranch dressing. :)

      Not a big fan of warm lettuce either. 
 Shredded on tacos, cut or torn in salads or whole depending on leaf size. Spinach salad is super yummy. | |
