I also got rid of my debts. It was getting to be a drag, you know, typing all those letters to answer "final notices", and stuff. Somebody at church suggested I get rid of my debt, so I did. It pays to go to church. Some people give you good advice there. Like "respect your elders to have a long life on earth." All one who wants to die young needs to know is that. Call dad an azzole, call mom a two-bit hooker, and bang, you don't have to haul a long life and drag out your miserable existence. Good advice.

Oh, and I discontinued my Readers' Digest subscription. That was a huge time saver.

Another thing I did, was I got rid of my back issues of Victoria's Secret catalogues. I noticed my eyesight was getting worse, so selling those catalogues on eBay was not that much of a voluntary choice, but a force of circumstances.

Put away decorations and knick-knack type of items. Cleaning is much more simple now and things don't look so cluttered.

What's the most recent thing you've done to simplify your life or to bring more peace into your life?

One thing I did recently was deleting my Facebook account.

I'm really glad I did that.

I got nothing....

My life is always complex and I am not sure if I could function if it got any easier.

I deleted mine too. You have to stay away from it for a while before it will really go away.

They keep trying you get you to log back in. That will renew your account.

I haven't gotten any emails asking me back so maybe they don't do that anymore.

Facebook was a major life sucker for me.

I had a few withdrawal moments. But those passed.

I have a sign in my office that says: "SIMPLIFY"

And another that says, "Shut up and paint."

Oh they won't send emails, but you will find temptations all over cyberspace asking you to sign in or sign up to read this or see that...

Its awful.

True. I have friends and co-workers insisting I am missing life changing information by leaving the site.

I am learning to..accept.
To bring down the stresses of life.
Breathe deeply often, during the day.
Stop rolling my eyes :-)

I am enjoying doing nothing more and more. .... LOL
