I watched this film a while back. It took me a while to try to figure out WHY they would begin with the segment of Religion, knowing it would turn people off, and that they would turn IT off.

I understood by the end of the film why they began as they did. For anyone who refused to watch with an open mind, simply because they were offended at the beginning, you have missed out out on some very interesting and thought provoking ideas and knowledge.

There is no getting around it, it is a radical view but these are radical times and how we got here, is what this film attempts explain.

Not saying I uphold all it's ideas, but it does offer a lot information, and will make you want to find answers.

The film, in my mind offers only one huge distinction.

EVERYTHING IN LIFE ISN'T A MYSTERY!!!

Yes there are existential questions which we may never find an answer to, thus the mystery component of life. But man-made events are no more mysterious than a magic trick. It's all illusion. It takes a magician, but the magician is nothing if he doesn't have a willing, gullible and PUBLIC.

The magician distracts you upfront, while operating their so-called magic in the background. And of course we all pay to be tricked!!! Ask ourselves, 'how do they do it?!?!?', but never make any effort to find out. And th wose part is, if someone were to make the effort to find out, and explained it to you, you reaction would most likely be: 'CAN'T BE!!! I WAS THERE! I SAW IT!!! IT COULDN'T HAVE BEEN THAT SIMPLE!!!

And onward go our magicians in real life. We are addicted to what the magicians make us believe, the illusion 'upfront', and never even think of questioning what goes on in the background. Questioning it is just too hard, it seems.

TOO HARD!!! We have BUT ONE responsibility in life, and it is to educate ourselves. And I am not talking about school or church. I'm not talking about adopting more orthodoxy. I'm talking about real education, that contract with must all make with ourselves.

This journey where we should all set out to seek our own 'integrity', our own sense of 'being whole', our profound sense of being ONE, as a race of human beings.
Anything that defeats this reality, is a lie.

And yet, the world we live in is a labyrinth of lies. It is solidly architectured, with our full unconscious blessing, to go mostly against the principles of being 'one'. It does the exact opposite, creates rivalry and division, and does violence to the most fundamental truth of being one.

But again, our 'magicians' allow for a great upfront evocation of the princinple of 'ONEness', and brotherly love, but only in the form of art: theatre, music, opera, poetry. No tolerance for it in real life. 'GET REAL!!!' they will quickly tell you, ... 'HOW WILL YOU PAY FOR THESE DREAMS OF YOURS!!!'
And we fall right back into rank, as if we were fed some sort of 'obedience' drug.

Or making it is a lot simpler than that. There are no drugs. There is no UNSOLVABLE MYSTERY. There is no more need for opportunistic and reality controlling 'magicians' !!!

Maybe it is as simple as plain ABDICATION on ourselves. Abdication on this supreme responsibility we all have to declare ourselves whole, and hold all our fellow human beings as equally whole. Abdication to think for ourselves. Abdication, because we have deemed the alternative: REALLY THINKING FOR OURSELVES too much work. We don't have time. It too difficult to understand everything that goes on around us. Don't know where to start.

Abdication is the drug. There is no need for conspiracy, chances are we will not wake-up. The magicians will keep feeding us their tricks, and we the confused ticket paying, gullible Jacks and Jills, will keep asking for more.

We will reamain puppets, and willing puppets at that. Worse, we are so confused in this absence of any thinking, that we root for our 'puppet masters' to 'go get'em master!!!'.

Some, a very few of the 'all', from generation to generation have structured a veritable system, and sophisticated at that, to take full advantage of that complacency in all of us.

THEY WON'T THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!! THEY'LL ADOPT WHATEVER LINE WE FEED THEM IN EXCHANGE FOR 'NOT HAVING TO THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!! HECK, LET'S LEASE THEIR BRAIN SPACE AND FEED THEM OUR THOUGHTS!!! AN LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE WORLD FINANCIAL RESERVE!!!

It's not radical, 'Redykeulous', it's just one more 'guy' crying out for us to WAKE-UP like the anchorman in 'Network' (the movie), and pointing to the 'real workings' in the background!!! Who cares if he's not 100% right about his specific claims, that's arguing fr the magician's sullbhit.

The fact remains that MAN-MADE events are not 'mysterious'. When they are made to feel that way, there is something going on in the BACKGROUND that someone doesn't want us to know about.

Let's think and figure out the background, and IT to the foreground, ... instead of shooting the demystifying messenger!!!

I thought the beginning of the film was incredibly interesting as it showed how myth is created and used as a tool to control people...and I think the one comment that 100 million people believe we are currently in the "end times" deserves much discussion...wonder what Joseph Campbell would have to say about todays events...

The film did end on a positive note reminding us that we are special, powerful beings that have the potential to create a world of love...this idea should not conflict with anyones religious views...

If there was a way of making this a 'democrat-republican' and 'christians-unchristians' bashing proof post, there could be a number of very interesting discussions to be had from this very well crafted movie/docum.

The leitmotiv of the whole piece pointing to 'oneness', is especially telling, and inspiring. Not there yet, but no place else to aim for.

I would imagine that many will not hear the message of the movie because of the beginning and that is a shame. As soon as the basis of a religion is perceived as threatened backs go up.

To entertain the notion that there has been more than one 'saviour' of the human race or that the entire interpretation means something entirely different than one has been taught seems to shake the very foundation upon which people have built their lives...and I suppose that is scary for if the very thing that gives life meaning turns out to be false how then does one find footing on quicksand. It requires an entire paradigm shift and most people don't like change.

It, however, is not the subject of the movie/doc. For those who have been afraid or reluctant to watch the movie ... fear not. Do not throw the baby out with the bathwater. It is merely a tool used to frame human behaviour and to illustrate how belief gets formed. It illustrates how powerful collective belief is even if the premise is false and how people can be manipulated without their own awareness.

It is merely a setup for what is to come. And if you watch it and dismiss it as conspiracy without even questioning then shame on you.

Throughout history there have always been manipulators behind the scenes. Every scandal has a money trail...and a blood one.

Some will call this conspiracy theory. Some will call it outrageous. Some will be outraged by it. Some will be sickened by the trail of blood, manipulation and dollar signs. Some will be fearful of the sinister.....

It doesn't matter.

It is a plea for people to wake up and stop living on autopilot. We are so distracted by eeking out a living, raising families, mindless television and endless propoganda on the evening news that we fail to even ask the questions.

We have this amzing thing called a brain. It is highly evolved and not using it is like having a racecar that never leaves 1st gear.

We see magicians all the time and wonder 'how did he do that?' How did he throw a deck of cards at a restaurant window from the outside and have one of those cards stick ... to the inside of the window. How did he do that?

The trouble with 'real life' is that we never see the magician so we don't know that we are being misdirected or deceived.

I am no conspiracy theorist nor am I one to follow blind faith other than my guiding principle that we are all one. All of my questioning has brought me to that conclusion but the questioning never stops..the assimilation of experiences that support that belief ...or not... never stops.

That is point of the movie/doc. Think. Question.

Decide for yourself. But think and ask the questions.

I literally watched that movie three times in a row. It was gripping. Afterwards I needed to take some time off and reflect. I am a non-theist, so I will refrain from the religious comments.

That movie made you think and question. It was full of hyperbole, which leaves the discretion to the viewer to "tone down".

After watching the part on 9/11, I came to the conclusion that the US government is not being transparant. I am not saying that I am a conspiratist, but the US government is not telling the whole story.

It made me question the nature of war. Monetary incentive play apart of war, and I never thought about that. They might not be the only incentive, they may play a role in starting and maitaining a war. It is not the only incentive like the movie makes it out to be.

is not as free as people claim...what we are is the most propangandized

I would agree that people need to wake up and educate themselves. People are duped everyday by their own complacency.
I watched the video as well, and I appreciate the mans attempt at waking people up. However, I would not consider, or recommend that anyone use this video as a platform to become educated in the Truth.

This video is an obvious attempt at influenceing minds through subliminal techniques. The flashing lights, sound bits, and video clips are meant to accomplish the opposite effect of the very thing they are warning you against. Two wrongs dont make a right, and I believe this video is the worst of two evils.

1. One evil relies on people being complacent to accomplish its goal.
2. The other evil deliberately tries by covert means to accomplish its goal.

I believe the second is by far the more dangerous, since it is deliberate and coniving in its brillance.

People should educate themselves through traditional means without the biased influence generated from this video, or the governments reliance that they will believe anything they are told.
Pick a legitimate forum to educate yourselves. Not one that just shows a one-sided view, or offers flashing lights and sound clips to influence you.
Where do you get this unbiased education? That is the part that people find hard. The reason people give up and tend to accept the easy way of just believeing what they are told without question. Even the bible is biased, and since going back to school, I have noticed the education system in this country is biased.
I have asked instructors in History and Geography, about the discrepancies between what they teach as truth today and what I was taught as truth 20 years ago. It is different and they, the ones old enough to know what Im talking about, admit it is. One has even told me that she agrees its not the truth, but she has to follow the guidlines as the education system passes them down
to her. If she makes any variations from these guidlines, about what she can teach as truth, then she will lose her job. I learned it the way they taught it and recieved an A, but I know its a lie.
The younger generation learns it that way and walks around believing these lies are the truth. We, those capable to do so, need to make sure the younger generation learns how to learn and find the truth for themselves. If we dont then the world is lost, and the sheep led off to slaughter.

AND NEVER LET THEM BURN THE BOOKS! In this internet, technology driven world, this is important. It is the printed truth that must be preserved. The tech word can be changed on a whim, while the printed word is preserved in at least the age authenticity of the paper its written on.
