Oh,thank all of you for your thoughts and replys.I really appreciatet it.Some made me really laugh.But tha's what I love about everyone here.Your thoughts and honesty.But I just found out from a friend,he just recently got out of a relationship,with someone eles I care about.So now I have my answer.I could not do that.But I thank you all. pkh- give him a friend request, be his friend, there's nothing saying you can't date him after a friend has... if he's not the one for her, who's to say the reason why is cuz he's the one for you??

phk... I think you should send him an email as well. As far as being 50 and not being able to ask him. Well...I'm 49 and I used to be very shy, but in the dating world, I've become BRAVE, I suppose. He will never know how you feel unless you strike up some sort of communication. If you like him that much, I think you should do it...in what ever way you feel most comfortable. I wish you all the luck, it will get easier for you once you do it a few times.
