Truth be known; my ex did the cooking and I took out the trash. It's just an old fashioned notion that only women should do the cooking.

Truth be known; my ex did the cooking and I took out the trash. Same here. I never enjoyed cooking but I love to clean Actually I quite enjoy cooking but my ex was just better at it than me. He could have been a chef if he wanted to. I enjoy it once in a while, but not really my thing lol. Now I can clean like nobody's business I've always admired anyone that loves cooking...I guess I wasn't born with that enjoyment of it lol

Truth be known; my ex did the cooking and I took out the trash. Taking out the trash can be dangerous. That is how I ended up marrying my ex-wife. If you think that my aforementioned description of my ex-wife is harsh, then consider what she did to the man who became her husband after I divorced her. She shot him. I was lucky, because instead of shooting me, she sliced my left arm with a sharp object. I still have a scar from that incident.

And yes, I do think that there are still people out there who think only women should do the cooking. Just as there are those who think only men should do the asking/make the first move when it comes to dating.

I will say...I CAN cook some awesome things, I just don't like to lol. But ever since I've been making a family cook book for the family, I've been getting more excited about trying the recipes.
