Topic: removing myself from someones favorites list | |
---|---|
I just received notification that a man added me to his lst of favorites. He is looking for an intimate encounter...I am not. I want long term and have no intentions of speaking with this man. How do I go about removing myself from his list??
Thanks |

Hi missallen,
There isn't a way to remove yourself from someone's favorite list. The list is just a book mark type of thing. You can block nudges, emails and IMs if sent to you. Good luck, Kim |

Are a person's favorite's list public?
I just wish I could edit my mutual match list. Don't see it necessary to block most people but if I am not interested how is it a mutual match? |

Are a person's favorite's list public? No they are not. You can only see your own list |

Why are we able to see that someone has added us to their favorites list when we're not able to remove ourselves from it? That is a bit weird.

THere's one site that gives you the option to let the other person know you've added, or not let them know. And another one that gives the person an option to remove themselves from others' favorites list. I think both make a bit more sense.
Not once have I ever been contacted by someone who has added me to their favorites list, so it's always been a bit weird. |

Not once have I ever been contacted by someone who has added me to their favorites list, so it's always been a bit weird. That is their site. Every site runs it differently. There are sites that do absolutely nothing about nasty insults on the forums. This is just the way we do it it here. We aren't really taking suggestions at the moment as there are more pressing issues. |

I'm just giving my opinion. That's all.

I just wish I could edit my mutual match list. Don't see it necessary to block most people but if I am not interested how is it a mutual match? Easy to do. There is a small box with an 'X' in it next to their name on your Mutual Match List. Clicking it removes them. To get them there in the first place, you would have had to select 'Yes' or 'Maybe' when Searching, yourself. There is also this way to remove previous Mutual Match selections from a secondary listing: http://mingle2.com/mutual_match/delete_connection/XXXXXXX where the 'X's represent their user number. (Easily obtained by clicking on their profile and copying the last 6 or 7 digits in the address box.) |

That is just how it was designed. It has always been that way. The favorites are like a book mark for future reference 1. it was designed? Designes can be made better. 2. it has always been that way? It can be changed according to the needs and the wishes of the users. 3. book mark for future reference? 20 men who take me as favourite and stick there since 2 and a half year, without contacting me? I feel harassed by them. I want to get rid of them! Please, we are coming into the year 2016. It's time for a change. A time for more respect. Thanks |
