she called and said her cell was not working. she's down to a home telephone land line. i offered to move her in with the possum or to haul all her stuff to vivian's lake house, but she seems to want to wallow in her misery alone right now

I'll go run Carol down sometime this week and make sure she's hanging in there. Sometimes you just need private time to wallow...and as long as you KNOW you are wallowing, it can be a little therapeutic.
