Good morning, Texas! Last night I was surprised, appreciative and humbled to be among a group of award recipients from the talented pool of folks on my rodeo committee. I received a "Team Speaker of the Year" award for my time with the Rookie team last year! WAY TO GO!!!!

I've been mowing all day...still have weed eating to do...we've had rain, the sprinklers going and everything wouldn't dry out

Normally, it wouldn't take all day..( 2/3 of a city block) but it was wet,and wouldn't dry out, and I had to stop and cook for those girls, and then take them to get their nails done and hair cut.

Mani-pedi and a trip to the hair salon beats the heck out of watching grass dry, I suspect! LOL! Did you get pampered, too? Is this back to school prep for Monday?

No, the girls wanted me to, but I need to wait until before the show..too much paint, glue, drilling and sanding going on right now..Yes, they go back to school on Monday.

Well kids...tomorrow morning I roll out and head to Oregon. Gonna miss Texas but I think I am gonna love being with my woman in a beautiful place. Not looking forward to the drive or L.A traffic...uhhhgggg Wish me luck.
