If they were passionate, maybe. If they are fanatical about it, probably not.

So if they strapped a bomb to you and sent you to a crowded place, would you would consider that passionate or fanatical?

Q. How is the Bible like a #$%&?
A. There is always some Priest trying to shove it down your throat.

Wrong place for that? Pardon my poor social skills.

I married outside my faith and was punished by the Lawyers from Hell in the divorce.

I am just messing around-sure the bloodsuckers are still trying to rip me, but that is what they do. Trying to construct a good comedic phrase- needs revision. See I am more interested in the laugh than the reality.

It's ok, I hear that a lot. My opinion is that I think it's great when someone truly believes in their religion(or whichever higher power they choose to believe in). BUT, I think sometimes people can go beyond being a faithful follower. At which point, it's no longer even about the religion. They become fanatical, and I think they lose sight of things.

I would date anyone that isn't trying to convert me to their religion.. I'm very private to start with and don't enjoy discussing religion or politics...always ends in an argument..

I disagree with everything you wrote about how a christian woman should be Funches. But I am not taking this further because this is the wrong forum to debate this issue. And no I do NOT want to debate it with you at all, not now, not ever. offtopic

no problem...according to the gospel of Paul you as a woman are not allowed to debate it

that's what I was referring to in the post about not having to worry about a woman passionate about their religion trying to convert you ..they can not preach

Why question him about it if you didn't want to discuss it?

She has free will. She can debate what she wants. That's pretty silly to think she's not allowed to do so.

Just another reminder to myself as to why I am not a religious person.

For me .. No I wouldn't. I have a fairly strong faith, but I will not go to church.
If I married someone who did and he was the head of the family then I would be expected to go with him, and even if he said I didn't have to everybody would be praying that I would go as they would think that there was something wrong with me.
Also i wouldnt want my children going without they wanted to , slready ben there done that.

So no definately not

I don't expect my wife to convert or go to church. She has free will to believe as she will, and worship or not worship as she desires.

if someone was passionate, this would mean that they would abide by their religious scripture to the Letter

this is why to be passionate one would have to be fanatical

the equation is...the more religious one is the more delusional they will appear in society

once upon a time in the USA people burned witches...and this was done by those that was passionate about following the scriptures

other places in the World..people still burn and stone others
