I disagree with everything you wrote about how a christian woman should be Funches. But I am not taking this further because this is the wrong forum to debate this issue. And no I do NOT want to debate it with you at all, not now, not ever. offtopic

no problem...according to the gospel of Paul you as a woman are not allowed to debate it

that's what I was referring to in the post about not having to worry about a woman passionate about their religion trying to convert you ..they can not preach

She has free will. She can debate what she wants. That's pretty silly to think she's not allowed to do so.

Just another reminder to myself as to why I am not a religious person.

if there were "Free WIll" there wouldn't be Commandments and laws nor teachings

a religious passionate woman would follow the laws and not debate

Everyone has free will. Some, for some reason, choose not to use it.

I believe in Hard Determinism. Free Will is nice to believe but really we have no complete freedom. Our thoughts, wants, and desires are out of our ability to control. All our actions can be explained by our disposition to follow our strongest desire. In both the moral and the physical world, everything is a natural consequence.

Religious teachings and people who are "passionate" about whatever religious belief they tend to follow seem to get stuck on phrases or words that have been subject to the vocabulary, translation, interpretation, instruction, and application of the human mind usually for generations regardless of the source.

While I am not the Bible student I once was and could not put up verse against verse like I once could I tend to follow what I see as the over all intent of the Bible and not let things be taken out of text and applied zealously.

I tend to see other relions applied the same way much more reasonable and understandable even acceptable also. When it is done that way i could cohabitate in a mixed faith relationship with no problem.

Someone telling me that a religion makes me do certain things I find offensive, not being able to speak the word as I see it would not wash with me. The Bible has plenty of women supporting and spreading the word so anyone trying to muzzle me or bully me down with select verses would pretty much be ignored as selective reading.

do anyone has the "Free Will" to live as a human without ever having to eat food or drink water without ever dying ...this is why for humans "Free Will" is a myth...

unless of course if you have the ability to cancel out the laws of physics

the bible also tells you that it's a requirement to hate your family, friends and yourself to be a disciple

so if two believer get married they are require to hate each other

which is why if you're looking for Love.. it's best to marry an unbeliever

There are two parts of the bible which are the logos and the rhema...the logos is the written word i.e the letters in the bible while the rhema is the mystery behind the letter...the mystery also known as the revelation of the word of God is only delivered through the Holy Spirit....if you take the bible's word in literal meanings, it like driving at top speed on a lane where there are "slow down" flags everywhere....bottom line is => you will drive into a ditch if u dont slow down...
My frd, you know the bible stories but you lack the mysteries...

so when on a date and the passionate religious person states that God created the Heavens and the Earth, according to you they should be told not to take the words literally?

that type of dating advice can end up as a homicide scene

but as long as you don't try to offend then it shouldn't be a problem dating someone passonate about their religion, the worst thing that can happen is asking you to attend church with them....but then again is that any different then asking you to attend the movies to watch a chick flick

which is worst...suffering through church services or trying to survive a 2 hour chick flick without praying to God to end the freaking movie before you jump out of the freaking nearest window

either way you going to have to give ten percent...either in tithes or buying popcorn

So true hemmy1991. The bible can be read without understanding or it can be read with the revelation of the Spirit. Until I was genuinly seeking God, the bible never made any sense. Hey Mendy1flowerforyou Hey Funches.flowerforyou
