Well, we all have Post names here or in this case member Names. Some are good and some are bad. It can make or break a profile (member's) success. I think it is time someone brought up the fact that some member names are just plane Gauche. People, this is not Adultfriendfinder, names with the number 69 are not cute clever or new. Come on, we know it is slang for oral copulation. This is a social and dating site. Would you guys walk right up to a woman at a bar and whip out your schlong? If you would where are you hanging out? If you were hanging out at some of the other "Instant gratification sites this would be more appropriate (although its effectiveness is still questionable). Would a Ferrari still be a Ferrari if called a "Limone?" I find it difficult to take anyone serious when they affiliate themselves to a sex act in their member name. That is the same for men who use nicknames for their member as their member names. (Get the pun??? I made a funny.)

I wonder if they mean 1969 as their birth year sometimes, but most often I pay them no attention.

Lol Names are often a real insight into someone's character. I am pleased they choose names like that. It tells you who to avoid. Anyway 'bigdick' can mean two things. Maybe it is how we interpret it?

I've got a friend with a name I don't like. I only allowed it because of the nice message written with the request.

I was thinking of deleting but then I would be judging by the cover. Sometimes I wonder the same about my moniker? Does it make people think of a drug riddled culture? A lot of hippies did nothing more than smoke pot for a while, while others wouldn't put any substance in their body and got off on nature itself.

I chose my name because I still believe in :: my hippie mantra :: peace, serenity, happiness and love.

That would depend on the person. I see it the same way you do. Possibly your moniker could read as someone who was wild and free, which to me can only be a good thing.

Honestly, I try to avoid people with them usernames that are like that. I am also one of the few guys in my age range who reads someones profile before I even look at their pics. I sometimes wonder if I am the only one in my age range who tries to not follow that crowd.

Rasmus, possibly you are, I sure hope not though. From the messages I get which range from 18 to 68, I would have to say you are a rare one that reads profiles.

Some names do seem not to put the best impression but then if a person wants to find something vulgar or negative they will. People who are powerless are often submissive agressive and I always wonder when I see certain names if it is not that.

Honestly my big problem is that there are so many guys out there who are only after one thing, when a guy like me comes around, I have to do a lot of convincing that getting into a girls pants is probably the last thing on my mind when it comes to starting a relationship.
