Yeah, lol. Honestly I get very tempted to play with the scammers. But I use self control to not amuse myself in that way. Dammit! Could have sooo much fun with them :-P

Well, the main images that some people use are as bad as their chosen user names. A main image of a person without a shirt on tells me that the person is narcissistic.

I have thought that sometimes but sometimes I think it is just being so desperate, or insecure, or used to being stripped naked one way or another so the concept of personal dignity or autonomy or choice is not something they think they have.

If you talk to someone who has been so desencesitized to being stripped or sexualize after a point it has no meaning. So their ability to give either as a gift has little meaning. Sad when given as a gift is truely an intimate treasure.

No, you don't want to play with the scammers. It's best to ignore, block, and report them. Even if you think it's harmless to mess with them, you can be doing more harm than you think. At the very least you would encourage them to continue to prey on others.

I agree some of the handles people
come up with are very sexual
oriented ,some are way to offensive.

I think its easier sometimes
Because you can glance at there
screen name and know instantly
dont reply to them or stay clear
from or what there after ect.

It saves time to me,i know not
everyone is that way but it makes
it easier so your not wasting your time
thinking someone is wanting to be
nice and there not .

"Playing" with scammers is just training for them. They get a chance to learn more about current culture and improve their skills in everything from English speaking to slang to just a little more time to figure out how to guess your passwords or clone your identity. Sometimes it is a scrap of this and a scrap of that that helps them hone their "craft". They are masters at manipulateing you and letting you think you are not on the hook all the way down to your belly button. They love to get someone who thinks they have got skills and then resoundingly spank you.

A lot of the better scams are bits and pieces stolen from previous "marks".

Thank Goodness Daddy didn't call you Sugar Britches I had to have a long chat with on of my Foster Kids for that. What is cute when a kid is little ceases to be funny when it is used to embarrass or straight out harrass older kids.

What is really tough is when employers and coworkers start picking up on screen names and use them to intimidate, harrass, or even discriminate. Yea it is not suppose to happen but it does.

I've always called my daughter "Sweetie." For sweetheart. She still lets me.

You know, when I joined this site, I didn't know what the hell kind of name to use. I knew I didn't want it to suck. I just thought how all my friends find my goofy, silly, crazy, etc. and just came up with Goofball. The 73? Well, it's in honor as to how high I can count.
