Welfare brats should pay taxes welfare brats should be forced to prove they are looking for work welfare brats MUST take random drug tests welfare brats should only be allowed to claim one child welfare brats should be subjected too random home searches to look for drugs, cigarettes, party likker, and the recipient them self be checked for new tattoos gold dental work welfare bratting MUST have an expiration date My former bro-in-law has lived in California over 20 yrs on welfare. Free food, free rent, free medical and free marijuana. all that is already required,, EXCEPT the drug testing,,,and claiming the children family size is used in the formula for household income, just like it is when taxes are filed or tax 'credits' are given to working families,,, Prove it, prove it for all 50 states! Exactly. California has the worst welfare system in the nation! And with that turd pie jerry brown running things here we haven't got a chance of solvency! Former bro-in-law has lived in California over 20 yrs on welfare. Free food, free rent, free medical and free marijuana. thats interesting,, what type of 'welfare' is he on cant be tanf if he is a single male, or if he has received it for 20 years,,,,, Not sure, but I think it's from the state of Calif. He has AIDS from drug use. |

They should all be told that if they work hard they can become Billionaires.... The American Dream Has Become a Nightmare because people are looking in the wrong Direction. If the US overbuilt, Ireland overbuilt even more. If the US over-borrowed, Ireland borrowed even more. And if the USA got lost in debt finance, Ireland got lost in dreamland. “We are dreamers, I guess. And storytellers. It’s a status thing in Ireland. You go into a bar. Only 4 million of them are left on the island. Some 60 million of their descendants – the Irish diaspora – live in America, Canada, Australia, Argentina and elsewhere. Your editor is one of them. For the first time in more than a decade, the Irish are emigrating again. “If you’re a smart young man or woman, what else can you do? It’s sad for their families. But Ireland has nothing to offer them. They have to leave. And usually, they don’t come back.” Are the Irish immigrating to Palestine? No, I heard they don't like the weather....Too hot.... |

When I say mandatory i mean they must go to the DES office once a week with a list of possible employers and turn in names and phone numbers so DES can call and verify that the person is actually looking for work. I cant repeat enough that people find ways around the law,, but that is not the NORM,,,, in most cases, some work activity or search is a REQUIREMENT for monetary assistance,,, |

No the current administration admitted to not pursuing known illegals if they committed no other crimes. not JUST the current admin,,,every admin has had a justice system that uses prosecutorial discretion,, to pursue some crimes and not others,,, And thus I win the argument saying just because some places have laws doesn't mean they are enforced. Thank you. |

Ya know, I'd LOVE to hear what you all think of Social Security benefits. I'm on social security, will be for the rest of my life and I'm only 31 years old. I'm mentally disabled, and have a severe case of social anxiety, I can't walk into a Wal-Mart without a serious panic attack. Want ME to do work and volunteer with others? I don't think so, it'd be a bad situation. Not mentioning the other 3 serious illnesses I have. Always amazes me at the people working, props, if I could work I WOULD, I actually miss working, but there's not a damn thing I can do about it. The last 2 jobs I had, fired. WHY? Medications and they found out about my illnesses, that's out of my hands. Not because I didn't work hard enough, I busted my a$$ everyday. Now it's just to the point of it's worse enough, and will GET worse over time. It's a train ride that will never stop. It's in the bloodlines, it's hereditary in my family and I just happened to be next in line to get it all. If you call my grandma spending the last 20 years of her life in a mental institution BS, I feel sorry for ya. Do I receive benefits? Of course, but I'm getting LESS than a 40 hour work week at min. wage.

And how many laws are the feds enforcing. We already know they are not enforcing immigration law. thats a false assumption knowing that not all criminals are brought to justice does not mean the criminal laws NEVER get enforced,,,, there are always those who find ways to cheat the system,, rich or poor,,, You forget so easily. It's only one page back. |

I believe people who need help should be able to find help,
SSDI would be no exception,,, |

People who can't work because of a disability is a different situation then welfare. |
