I wasn't attacking Rivergurl & am sorry if I came across that way!! She is a wonderful Lady & has always been respectful in the forums. Almost EVERY Frickin time I go back & read my posts they've came out sounding differnt than what I was thinking.. My point was peoples feelers would take it wrong & nobody wants that... |

all I have to say, os that I have nto read all the way through so if someone else already said this I am sorry.
But, to the topic of the thread, I know I for one am soemone who takes greatprode in their englsh and using the correct words. BUT, I also type os fast that I tend to typo without een trying to, and Ihave gottent ot he point thatr I dontalways check everything first. But I completely understand how omeoine can get discouraged from using the wront word (there versus their) as I read a passage by how it is writen as well. However, I DO take into account that tohers dont always stop andmake sure they use the right word (again there versus their) and I try to keep that in mind. But fot hose that are worried about it, people like me who read it the way something is written, there is a destination and their is a group of people. Needless to say these two wrods if mixed up can make things extremely confusing. Another common english rule that a LOT of poeple dont know is the use of te word you. you is both singular and plural. I use the word you in both contexts and there have been several times that it has meen misconstrued as a personal attack when it wasnt. Hope this helps..... |

Right or wrong, I'm anal about the spelling/grammer thing, too. However, I am MUCH harder on myself than others here. I find it impossible not to correct a mistake of mine if I see it after the post. I have been dubbed the grammer monitor on other sites which is a little irritating, but hey......I'm my worst critic!

Not Too Shy, it's spelled grammar. Don't let the temperature get too high. Bye LOL
