We just finished the FIRST turkey meal of the day,
roasted it overnight at 250*, it fell off the bones, soooo good. Will put the carcass on to simmer for soup, freeze up packets of turkey and gravy, and munch away at the rest. Someone has to do it :-) Hope you all have a lovely turkey day :-) |

Nerk and Souf
 Super easy turkey day here. It's just me and the little girls so I'm cooking about a third of the normal T-Day fare. Made my pumpkin pie last night. First one I ever baked. Got all my ingredients together only to discover I don't own a pie plate.  So, I baked it in a square Pyrex casserole dish. Came out beautifully. And square.

Well I made turkey (cabbage) soup to try and shed
the turkey day indulgences :-) Has been a wonderful holiday, and krupa got a lottery ticket, we have already begun to spend it in our minds.. |
