Never thought I could give my heart away again
But the things he said,and way I felt I was ready to begin
We shared our souls,love and painful pasts
I really believed deep inside that it would last
No matter what each day brings,or the future may hold
Just believe have faith in it I was told
We both learned to share and believe in love
Finally felt I could open my wings and fly like a dove
As I learned to open up,believe and trust
No more hiding in myself,to live I must
That pain buried in my heart for so many years
But I'm alive again,no more heartache,no more tears
I want to be happy,love and live once again
That is my only wish for me,and my dearest friend
His heartbreaks and pain were also very deep
But in my heart his love and friendship,I will forever keep
I never met a man quite like him
And it all was started by a feathed pen
So many word written and beautifully spoken
But I know I'll move on,though my heart is still broken
