Topic: obama demands that fox news be turned off | |

more from our dictator in chief (DIC)
PARMA, Ohio — At an unscheduled stop at Ziggy’s Pub and Restaurant, an Amherst, Ohio bar, President Barack Obama suggested that the channel be changed when he was made aware that televisions were showing Fox News. Obama and Fox News have gone to war frequently during his three and a half years in office — most recently over a sharply negative teaser shown on Fox and Friends that the White House took as a Fox News-sponsored attack ad on the president. The Obama Administration frequently used the network as a proxy punching bag for its Republican opponents in the early years of his presidency. Fox's personalities, led by Glenn Beck, fired back with more and more incendiary comments, but a somewhat delicate balanced was reached after the 2010 election in which both sides toned down their rhetoric. The exchange, per pooler Mark Landler: As he thanked the group for their support, one of them, Jeff Hawks, gestured to one of the TV's and said, "You're in a building that has Fox news on." Obama suggested that Hawks ask for it to be changed. "The customer is always right," he said. "I'll arm-wrestle you for your vote," Hawks said to Obama. "No, I'll play basketball for your vote," he replied. ' |

Customers ask for the channel to be changed all the time in bars/restaurants. What's the big deal? what does he care what people are watching? and what the hell is he even doing in a bar in the middle of the day? is that what our drunk president does every day, going into bars and start ordering people around? |

You've never gone to a bar and asked to have the channel changed? Or been sitting next to someone who wanted the channel changed. This isn't a weird phenomenon. And since when is suggesting the channel be changed ordering people around? |

Yes, the article you posted said he suggested the channel be changed. Since he's campaigning, I would think he'd be going to all sorts of places, including restaurants. |

You do realize that it's a restaurant, too, right? Or did you not even read the article you posted. You also never answered my question. Have you ever gone into a restaurant/bar and asked them to change the channel for any reason? Or been anywhere near someone who did that? |

Seems like you have major issues with bars. And since you hate Obama, you're attacking him for going to a restaurant/bar and suggesting the channel being changed. You're reaching here, mighty, even more than usual for you. |

How do we know he didn't have anything to eat or drink? Doesn't say in your article. Either way, msharmony is correct, this is a non issue. You're just trying to find something to whine about.
Msharmony is correct again in that he suggested that the customer ask for the channel to be changed. |

Msharmony is correct again in that he suggested that the customer ask for the channel to be changed. why? he goes into a bar unannounced, then starts telling people to change the TV? WHY? If it was such a non-issue, why is it in the news? Free advertising for ziggys bar? I know you libs don't care about this, because everything he does just tickles you pink, but it is an isuue, because he had no business telling anyone to change anything... |

Obama suggested that Hawks ask for it to be changed. "The customer is always right," he said. which answer most closely describes the reading? A. Jeff Hawks insisted the customer is always right B. Jeff Hawks suggested the customer is always right C. OBama demanded the owners turn the channel. D. Obama suggested Haws ask the owners to turn the channel. lol,,, choosing anything but D, in such a short and direct reading, is proof that reading comprehension is seriously declining in America,,,, |
