Too bad people aren't making the christmas tamales yet...they are wonderful..fruits and nuts and coconut.

Yes, I can eat all that... I just stay away from pork for religious and physical reasons.. I have a pork intolerance. It's bad and hurts. I will see if I bat my lashes enough to get him to come with... I have avoided bringing anything with pork for that reason. (I have close friends of your religion). However, I assumed that you have never had a good chicken tamale and Texans eat a lot of tamales! Mostly pork and beef. They eat a lot of breakfast tacos too! We are bringing no bacon (other than me) to avoid cross contamination of the tacos! Here comes the picante!!! Too bad people aren't making the christmas tamales yet...they are wonderful..fruits and nuts and coconut. If you start right now .........

There was a lady in Van Horn that made them and sold them every Christmas...I was leery at first, but when I tried them.........OMG...I couldn't get enough!

One more usual day...then it's Mingle Meet Friday! I actually put some of my stuff in a suitcase and have room for a quilt and my pillow - just in case :)
