Know it is hard to be patient at your age in your situation but if you take on a Hostile tone, even a slight one, it will scare people away.

I lived in and worked all over Kentucky it seems like it took a little time for people to warm up to outsiders there. Good people with good values by majority so just keep doing what you are doing and things will get easier.

The fact is, the forums help a lot. It also depends upon what you say in a message. I have no idea what you are saying or writing, but usually when I do choose to write to someone they do respond, maybe because I read what they say and ask honest questions about what they had to say. If all you are doing is possibly making passes or saying the same old generic "hi" they probably hear 20000 times a day.... well I would not respond to that either.

Not saying you do that mind you, but it is very common.

I seemed to have only become more mello in the fact she cheatwd and robbed me blind. Lol. Love makes ya stupid I guess. We do have a wonderful daughter but I dont see her. You can file on your own if you pay the fees. Stay in contact so you don't loose them. One year with out documented contact and you can loose Parental RIghts in Kentucky. They don't play with parents who make excuses about not visiting, sending support, sending/making effort toward parenting.

I pay child support. I live in KY. She lives in Indiana. With my working all the time its hard for visitation. Plus no sitter. I'm able to see her but only when its allowed by them. I did have visitation court ordered. But she stopped showing up and when I told the court they didn't do ****. Said tough luck. Bs working hard now in order to afford lawyer to get all my rights.

Try doing this in a small mountain community and being 60 years old.....and I haven't even gotten my web cam yet, so no pic.....the mail box looks like the Gobi Desert.....

You do not need a web cam to put up a photo. You can upload a photo to your computer or scan one in and then upload it to the site. Or have someone e-mail you a photo of yourself and save it on your computer. All it really needs is a jpeg file. Good luck!

I know how you feel. I work a lot too. Haven't had a day off in a month probably. Came on here hoping to meet someone and still nothing. I only know people at work so its difficult to meet anyone. Starting to feel as though I'm wasting my time. I don't have a photo so that is probably a set back, but still...

I'm rolling on four months without a day off. I live in the country and don't have a car as of few months ago. I have to pay for ride to work and back. Always have all bills paid a month ahead so that's a good thing. I've kinda got to a point where I meet the wrong ones. I liked this one girl but she turned out to be married and was just trying to use me. My ex wife did that also. I probably got walk on me written someplace lol
