All of you people who have a second team are nothing but a bunch of bandwagon fans or just plain idiots. "Oh, who won this year? Yeah, they are my other team." Pick a freakin' team and stick with them, good or bad.

And just because you live in a city with a team shouldn't mean crap. That doesn't mean you are supposed to back them. I know lots of people in Cinci who know better and wouldn't root for the Bengals. Also, for instance, if you live in Indianapolis and you are over the age of 40, your team shouldn't be Indi. At the age of 20 you had a team you liked, and it most likely wasn't the Baltimore Colts. Then the Colts move to Indy and now you changed teams? What a load of crap.

i don't back my home town team because i think i have to. it's a sense of pride and you support people from your hometown. granted there isn't alot of pride during football season but at least i ain't no sunny weather fan who jumps to some team because they started winnin all of a sudden.

I am 47 years old. When I started watching foorball, I was 6 or 7. I rooted for KC, and then Miami. I still root for Miami, they suck, but I still root for them.
Way back then, the Carolina Panthers didnt exist, but they do now, and if I want to root for them I will.

I am a packer fan through and through if the win yeah if they lose it's ok I don't run down my team I always root for them even if they are gonna lose for sure I don't have a second team cause I don't live there I live in wisconsin and that is my team

Call me an idiot. I happen to love three teams. Two more than one. I am an avid follower of OU SOONERS and OSU COWBOYS, then DALLAS COWBOYS. I am most proud of my two state colleges and their acomplishments in the sports arena.

i am a cowboys fan.... ikno that they suck, and have for some time now.. but the first game i watched of football they won... kicked serious azz, and they are now, and will always be my team... itd be nice if they won once in a while so i didnt look like an idiot... but well.... its ok.... they are still my faveorite!!

Have heart Izzie - the Cowboys are on the trail back. Remeber what happened to the Patriots after Parcells came in and righted the ship. I think Wade Phillips is a good coach - at least as good - if not better than any other coach in that division. And the Cowboys have one of the best defenses in the NFC.

So - apparently you come from the "root for laundry" school of fandom. Never happen for me. I don't root for laundry. I choose my teams to root for because the players have talent, charater, and integrity. I was a HUGE Bruins fan when I was young - but when Jeremy Jacobs bought the team, I just couldn't root for them any more. The guy only cares about making money - not winning the cup. Though I care that the Bruins do well - I do not invest in them emotionally. Same thing with the Celtics. After Patino got there - lost interest. He set the franchize back 30 years! They won 11 championships in 13 years when I was a kid! I bleed Celtic Green. Now - I won't even watch them. The team I live and breath with (The PATRIOTS - DYNASTY!!!) did not EXIST when I started watching football - so my team then was the Colts. Johnny U and Raymond & Jimmy. I rooted as hard for them last year as I would have in the Patriots had they beaten the Colts. So - not rooting for laundry makes you an idiot? Oooooo-K

I've always been a Packer fan, but I love then Bengals too because I go by their training camp too, and I've got to meet some of them and they were really nice.

I'm a super idiot. I support a different team every week because when the weekend comes I have forgotten which team it was the week before. And when I write it down I forget where I left the slip of paper it was written on.
