having an issue logging on? I keep getting a message telling me the connection was interrupted!

i just logged into my gmail account fine.
Been having connection problems all week though and facebook has been a mess too. |

Have you checked to see if they were doing maintenance or anything? Could have just been a busy server.

I've been having trouble since yesterday, thought I may have been hacked so I changed my password and still had problems. Just tried it now and didn't have a problem, I'll wait and see what it does tomorrow. Thanks for your responses. |

I am using Sylpheed 3.20beta5 to open my Gmail and haven't been having any problems.

I owe you an apology. I had to start using the regular Gmail service to work instead. For me, Google was the problem. Then all my mail showed up. The error to keep it not working was "Authentication error".

There was a bug of some sort, I removed some programs that mysteriously appeared and now its working fine. Thanks for all the tips, I appreciate your input

I am glad it is working for you.
Postler for me with Gmail is still having Aparmor problems and Sylpheed just isn't working right with Ubuntu. Gnome Gmail and Gmail Notify are working great.
