we dont want the figurehead/leader of our nation to be protected?

I didnt realize that had much of an affect on how I move about in my daily life,,,

NDAA and precrime/thought crime must be ok in your book too then, huh?

You already said you agreed with the violation of 1st amendment rights, denying freedom of assembly, a redress of grievences.

No leader who wishes to violate my rights, is worth my effort to defend, but I will ALWAYS stand for my country, its patriots, and its constitution. The UCMJ even states a right to violate an order felt to be unjust by definition of your sworn oath!

NDAA is fine
PRECRIME/THOUGHT CRIME Is not ok

I never said I agree with violating any rights,

I did say I dont believe first amendment right is an ABSOLUTE right as we cant say what we want IN ALL SITUATIONS and ALL MANNERS (fire in a crowded theater, for example)

I did not say I dont believe in freedom to assemble, I did say that wasnt an absolute freedom that gave people the right to assemble under ALL SITUATIONs in ALL PLACES

I did not say I dont believe in redressing grievances, I did probably say that there is a common sense application that doesnt mean EVERY type of GRIEVANCE in EVERY SITUATION

,,see a theme here yet?

I dont wish my rights to be 'violated' either, I think the congress and the president,,,the collective GOVERNMENT have many individuals at any given time wish to do just that to me as a woman and a minority, even with the best of intentions, and I choose to stand behind those I feel have the integrity and foresight to inspire PROGRESS (moving forward, not backwards)

He teacher brought up the subject of Romney bullying someone. When the student also brought up the fact that Obama said he was somewhat of a bully the teacher then threatened the student he could be arrested for speaking ill of the president? Where does she get her information from? And when is it ok to lie to students?
It's ok for the teacher to speak ill of Romney? The whole thing is rediculous and I hope the teacher loses her job.

The Looney Left makes it up as they go along.

NDAA IS precrime/thought crime! It states that you can be arrested, detained indefinately, even executed without a charge, without a lawyer, merely if you are "SUSPECTED' that you might, or could. I don't know how you can put lipstick on that pig and sell it as a beauty queen!

The 1st amendment has nothing to do with laws that are in place for property rights or other laws (like yelling fire in a crowded theater....that is a crime, covered under other statutes).

The very laws we are talking about is the right to assemble where "your elected representative" might be and your right under the 1st amendment to do so and redress your grievences! The new policy has nothing to do with property right infringement, it has to do with your "official" not having to listen to what you have to say if they don't want to, and you can now be arrested on a "PUBLIC" site by doing so! That IS a violation of the 1st amendment!

So a large portion of the American people have to be silenced for your precious leader to move his plan foreward? And you're ok with that?

Those rose colored glasses are obscuring your view of reality!
