I collect old books..classics that I want to read and to share with my family and friends. I also like to collect local architectural/lore books about my home town and Salem and Boston and the surrounding towns that interest me.
In addition, I collect nutrition and herbal remedies books, as well as gardening/landscape design books. My favorite book store has a wonderful and everchanging assortment of books.............and, I visit it often. What do you collect? |

Queene123 - WOW that's a whole lotta snowglobes! I have a native american Indian bust that sits on a bookcase in my lounge room. A really striking piece. Found it in a charity store!!! I collect: - Movie / TV wardrobe and prop pieces - Mego figures and Mego clone / knock off brands. - Living Dead Dolls presents franchise / horror movie release dolls - Vinyl Records (mostly funk, soul, blues, hip-hop and 50s rock'n roll) And anything unusual / one of a kind that takes my eye ;) |

My living collection would be my perennial plants I collect garden books & cook books (I reference both often). I used to collect crystal, but I just don't have the room or the need anymore For years I collected Sea Shore themed items that I thought were interesting, cute, or just plain funny to fill my family room. That collection makes me feel good just to sit in that room Things I have collected don't have material value, but they sure make me feel good

I lost all my collections when everything I owned was stolen.
I had quite a few antiques I spent years collecting and refurbishing. I had paintings I bought at the Louvre in 1974..so beautiful. I also collected minature chairs, from every walk of life. I could look at them for hours. I collected old Comic Books and had Superman and others framed, their price was 10 cents. I also had Saturday Evening Post Magazines BEFORE Norman Rockwell started painting the pictures in 1916. I also collected all the Nancy Drew books, which I still have :-) I LUV that new show, is it 'American Pickers?' Those guys are SO enthusiastic. |

Soufie it is so sad that happened to you Thieves take a part of a person when they steal Aww, thanks :-) Yup, got it all even my clothes. But guess what. After the initial slit-your-wrists-now scenario, you realize, you are a little freer. With nothing to guard, I guess hahaha And that things can weigh you down. If you are not enjoying them every minute. My best advice is, never hide collections away, but have them within reach, of your eyes at least. For the pleasure that could go away. |

I also collect nose hair clippings.
It kind of a research project. I read somewhere that men go grey from the inside out. I'm trying to catch it before it shows!!!!! |
