all of this, "My candidate is (or POTUS) is better than yours because..." or "OOOOO...your candidate (or POTUS)was heard by so and so doing this!"

Seriously, I had a think session tonight, along with 3/4 fifth of tequila .......lol..........and thought this.

All of this bickering is counter-productive. I think most people here just want to be treated fairly. Then I thought, it doesn't really matter who gets elected, odds are our lives will not change one iota.

So let's all just respect one anther's opinion on things. Hey you and so-and-so probably won't agree on things. That's life, but at least have enough respect for your fellow mingler not to run their candidate into the ground over something you can't be sure of.

And remember, unless you witness it first-hand, it's hearsay. Even if the journalist tells you that he witnessed it, don't believe it.

In the end it simply equates to, "We need to stop bickering over he said, she said, so much and work together towards one common goal. Be it freedom, equality, etc.

Okay, but let me ask you this?? Who decides what goal to work for, which goal has importance, and which candidate will lead us there? And how are you going to get everyone to agree to accomplish that?? If this is the goal, how do you get others to cooperate, and what is the plan to attain achievement, Mr. Peccy for President?? LOL laugh laugh laugh laugh

it's just now that you are realizing this? after reading a few threads (and foolishly commenting on some) the first few posts of some made it clear that they suck. some people on here will never be open minded enough to allow another persons thoughts or ideas to permeate their thick skull, even if the idea would save them time, money, heartache, etc.

i have considered printing out a few people's posts to be able to put their words to good use (wiping my azz)

LOL..............No, after all these years and over 16,000 posts, I realize that agreement will never happen, despite what I said or hoped for in my "tequila trance" last night.

"Variety is the spice of life," as the old adage goes and we certainly do an immaculate demonstration of it in this forum. Looking at it now, from eyes that aren't clouded with 90 proof obstacles, I wouldn't want us all to agree on everything. This forum would get mighty boring if we did!

It's getting tiresome.....

It has always been tiresome.
Keyboard analysts with a venue to spout ignorance.
So lacking in credibility that the sight of
some menber's names is enough to turn you away
from the whole subject.
Leaving it all to them.
Which I guess, is the point.
So they remain unencumbered with facts and
opinions other than their own.
