I'm sitting in the office, looking out the window at a rabbit relaxing in the backyard. It's literally sprawled out, laying on the ground, not too concerned about anything. I love animals, wild or domestic! Nah, it was a wild bunny, officially. The rabbits around here know they're safe from us humans, so they don't get too worried. I've had them let me get as close as about 3ft while I was doing something and they'd just watch. I've got the garden protected from them, but they do get in and eat the chicken's feed and cracked corn in their pen. Plus, no one actually bothers them, humans, or dogs. They have to watch out for the wildlife, but we're heavy with trees. I had a pet white rabbit, and miss her a lot. She was a sweet thing, litter-box trained, leash-trained, and in the house, about 14lbs, a Californian mix. Unfortunately, she apparently had cancer of the upper palate, and dropped dead in the vets office when we were trying to figure it out. I would like another pet rabbit in the future, but not right now. On the plus side today, I saw a roadrunner actually out in my woods, in the back. They're such cool birds!! |

We have grown up with crocodile, kangaroo's, snakes and lizard. the kids have had all of them except the crocodiles for pets so far.
They are asking for a pet croc at the moment but so far I havent said yes. but if we stay here I am sure they will get one. |

I drive in traffic everyday...does that count? I visited America and your traffic was scarier than anything i have ever met in the bush. |

Just thought i would show a few pictures of nature at this huge Nature park i use to go to every year for years :) and saw so much there ...Algonquin Provincial Park is located in south-central Ontario, Canada and covers 7,630 square kilometers (2,946 square miles). It is about 300 km north of Toronto, Ontario and about 300 km west of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada’s capital.Highway 60, the Park’s only major highway (open year round), runs through the south end of Algonquin Park as is easily accessible by car. The East Gate is located just west of the town of Whitney, Ontario. The West Gate is located just east of the town of Dwight, Ontario. There are many other Access Points to the Park that run off Highway 17 to the north of the Park. Other Access Points run off Highway 11 to the west of the park and others run off of Highway 60 to the east of the Park.
The 7,725 km2 of Algonquin Park is home to over 1,000 species of plants, including 34 species of native trees. Plus 53 species of fish, 31 species of reptiles and amphibians, 272 species of birds, 53 species of mammals, and more than 7,000 species of insects! For may people Algonquin Park is synonymous with wildlife watching whether it is the gliding flight of a Gray Jay or a Moose wading in a beaver pond or a Bear roaming and wolf howls and loons swimming -- Algonquin is home to a wide variety of plant and animals species.1 of many lakes there so peaceful :)miles and mile of forest too with wild animals free to roam in :)wild moose just looking around :)Aturtle there roaming free:)a bear with its cub there :)a loon taking 6qUEVyA]loon relaxing:)tons more its a beautiful place to camp if you not to scared of wild animals :) but i love that they roam free and not locked up there :)cheers |

Myself i love Wild Animals and Nature i saw wild bears ,deer moose, wolfs,Wild cats ,giraffes,Monkeys ,Apes,Crocs, and a lot more wild animals,i think its amazing how many different types there are,and thousands of different birds and ducks and loons as For Nature i love the moonlight over the ocean on the beach how Flowers bloom them big Roses i been to a place were theres been thousands of different Flowers and tree's to many never look at Nature and wild animals enough how about you all? I'm a pretty big animal lover. Not sure if it's because i've had pets my whole life, but they kinda fascinate me anyway. The rarer, the better, because some who only live in Zoo's, are the type you may only get to see once in a lifetime. I can relate to Jim Carrey in Ace Venture, because he's got such a huge love for animals. lol :) |
