I get a lot of that one word or one line answers. Drives me batty. I call people like this the, "Conversationally Challenged" I know some folks are just not much for talking. But when you join a dating site one would think that they would know that being able to converse would be mandatory. Just the other day I got a message (if you want to call it that) All she said was "HI" I said, "Hello" 15 min later she said, "Hello" I said "Hi" again. By this time I am getting irritated. About 20 min later she said "Hey"

I always answer everyone who speaks to me. But that time I let her have the last word and I said no more.

Not everyone spends a lot of time on here...I only pop on from time to time. We all have our reasons for doing what we do...work, health or other things. I pop on here mostly because I have a few friends that send me emails and we keep in touch on a weekly basis...we lean on each other for different reasons.
IF you are seriously looking, then you need to post more so people can find out more about you. People may not say much but they do take notice on what others say!

It really gets boring here. You send out tonnes of introductions and no one care enough to send a reply. Yeah, what a nice way to act on a date site:-x

I think there was a time when mingle did a lot of friends lists and that was cool, but after people came and gone the friends lists stopped being as meaningful as actually getting to know each other on the forums. (this is my take anyway)

I hope you find mingle to be the place of choice for you and don't worry about who is and who isn't on the list.

Honestly this place may not be what you think you are looking for, but if you are looking for a group of people who will care, offer you the truth, whether you want it or not and just be there when you need them.

Now...go hit the other treads where no one is at and you will start to see that there are plenty of people around who wanna hang out.

What I am talking about are people near me. Within 100 miles at least. Very little to none. I have seen some profiles near me. But they seem dead. They haven't been on in a long time.
