There is a young girl (16) who has cancer, osteosarcoma. It has cost her a leg, and about half of one lung and part of her other lung. Apparently this cancer doesn't respond to chemo or radiation, has to be cut out. She was only given about 9 months to live when she was diagnosed over a year ago. She is an amazing girl, a real fighter. She is homeschooling, can't be around other kids for germs, etc. She has an amazing attitude. She lives in Oregon. My daughter knows her family. The town has done fundraising for her.

Please keep Natalie in your thoughts and prayers. She deserves to have as much life as possible.

She was even given a cameo appearance on the show "Grimm", has shot hoops with the Portland Trail Blazers (they paid for her family to stay in a hotel, etc.) and signed her T-shirt and she got to meet her favorite players. She has a bucket list. Friends took her out to toilet paper a house, etc.

Anyways, just wanted to ask you to think of Natalie when you say your prayers. She apparently just got a little good news, she has been going to Houston to a clinic for treatment and her left lung is clear (she only has about 1/2 of it left), and the right lung is "stable" (part of it has been cut out) so they didn't have to cut more out. Hopefully she can keep going and surprise the doctors.

Will keep her on our prayer list. It is a wonder sometimes how these little Angel's battle through but miracles do happen and we will hope she gets hers. Sure makes a person's minor problems seem like nothing.

Wow, life really does deal out some schity cards to people. My thoughts are with her. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. My heart breaks for this poor girl. Thinking of her xox
