little by little, we are becoming a fascist state... 50 years ago, we wouldn't have allowed this... 50 years ago, the police wouldn't have had to do it. Kids ate a diet high in fat, so their brains developed properly with good brain chemistry. Now we give them low fat milk and skinless chicken breasts, their brains don't grow right or are chemically imbalanced and we give them artificial drugs with crazy side effects to try to make things right. |

This has nothing to do with fascism (although we are a fascist country, meaning that the Government controls businesses without owning them), you are thinking "authoritarianism". |

mixed signals and mixed up kids... I am a pacifist so do not believe in hitting people. However you cant let others hit and harm without consequences and being physical is needed at times. |

I think any cop who hand cuffs a little kid is weak and needs an *** beating. Now, look at the kid and see what issues she has. Maybe she is bipolar! At the very least they should have removed her from the class kicking and screaming then had her mom or dad pick her up and take her in for an evaluation. Hell must be pretty cold today, because I agree with you. |

Im from old school. The neighbor lady would spank your behind and then the parents would too. I think handcuffs is pretty light, if used as a 'restraint' which was clearly necessary in this instance,,,

yeah, throwing books and things can get people hurt physical restraint was probably the best way to reduce risk,,,as quickly as possible They could have restrained without handcuffs. |
