Topic: Freedom of Speech now a felony?!?! Incredulous!!

MsH and Dragonese must be sleeping..... Haven't heard yet how this doesn't mean anything, and how our constitutional lawyer, dictator would never allow it to be used, and would never destroy our constitution or bill of rights. What does it take to make people go ? He's going thru our constitution and bill of rights with a red pen saying "this doesn't work for me...." and nobody cares! Guess our country isn't going to hell fast enough to suit some people! at your request https://www.aclu.org/blog/free-speech/how-big-deal-hr-347-criminalizing-protest-bill make note of the words :RESTRICTED AREAS: basically areas one shouldnt be FOR ANY REASON,,,,, You should be able to protest the government close enough that they can hear you, this is like when Bush's security made protestors move 2 miles away. It was wrong then and now its a freaking law. you should not be allowed in a 'restricted area' we dont get to choose how close we can be to SOMEBODY else every time,,,,just because we want to thats why people get in trouble with stalking and harassment laws.... There is a huge difference between stalking and this, these are our employees and we should be able to go wherever we need to to be heard.

yep,, I sure want to be left to do my work at MY job and dont want non employees walking around and disrupting that work environment,,,

I won't so easily give up what I fought, and many friends died for! ok, Im just saying,,,this particular thing is not something you have to 'give up' as we never had it in the first place,,, If a politician speaks in a public area, who is protected (at the will of our glorious lead...dictator) by the secret service, and I don't agree with them and want to make myself heard, what right does the gov't have to arrest me for a felony, for using my right to free speech, and voicing my disagreement to an elected or otherwise representative person in that area of assembly? Even when they are generally public areas? Just send an email for them to ignore I suppose, huh?

They want to make every place a "no free speech zone" that they are in! In other words.... the only comments made without fear of prision......IS THEIRS!

The bill slightly rewrites a short trespass law, originally passed in 1971 and amended a couple of times since, that covers areas subject to heightened Secret Service security measures from politifact.com take it as you will, as I said though,, this particular 'right' is not one I have personally EVERY had,,being born in 1969

Under H.R. 347, you will simply need to act "knowingly," which here would mean that you know you're in a restricted area, but not necessarily that you're committing a crime. ..basically enforcing the ignorance of the law doctrine,,,,

Even though it is a public place!? THAT'S BS!
