I was a fried pie virgin until I moved to Texas...well, those hostess things or a McD's pie when I was a kid, but those don't really count because they were YUKKY!

BBQ and fried pies...it's no wonder I gained a pound for every month I lived in Houston. Down 10 now with a year's worth to go (and then some) but dang...there is a lot of deliciousness in Texas!

OHHHHHhhhhhh...I'm so disillusioned!
I opened the mini-pie mold! It's cute...but, but, but...it has a PEAR shape on it! I like it, I like pears, I like pear pie...but what if I make APPLE? Or PEACH??? Or BERRY???? Egads! The fruit won't match the cute crust! I'm trying to hold my OCD under control! |

oh....just poke a hole in it or add some more crust and change the image! Or come up with some really good pear and??? recipes!!!!

I did have some really yummy pears this week...but I'll get over it. If you don't look at the fruit imprint with your glasses on, maybe you'll think it matches what's inside????
