Yeah, Amerikans want to sit here and raise their kids... while their military marches around the earth, unfettered, killing millions. Our violence will come back to haunt us. Do you not think the parents in Iraq wanted to just raise their kids? We killed between 1.5 and 2.5 million of them. And, this military machine (that you gloat of) will be on its last legs. America, the corporation, is OUT of cash.

There's been an awful lot on the news lately about bullying and how bad it is and it got me thinking of how hypocritical everyone in The USA is. The United States is the bully of the world.

There will always be people who would rather coddle dictators than do what is right. That doesn't make the USA a bully, it just makes you wrong.

Yeah, everyone in the USA is such a bully, and we are all so hypocritically supportive of everything that we do around the world. Marching and invading everybody and stealing all their lunch money and giving brutal wedgies to those countries that don't wear the right shoes to school that day.

Oh wait, no we aren't.

Someone with a sense of loyalty to something other than myself.

What are you loyal to?

Myself. The US is now bullying North Korea because afterall no one else, but the US is allowed to have technology and if they do have the "Arrogance" to develop some then we'll just have to post an aircraft carrier off their coast.

Well...it ain't a bad thing to be loyal to yourself.

Honestly...this thng is starting to smell like "current events and politics"...if I wanna argue...I will just call my ex.

Do me a favor bro. See if you can get this shifted to the right forum. They love argueing about this kinda stuff there.

(ps...I served on an aircraft carrier USS America CV-66)

Everyone is entitled thier opinions. That is why I served. Not for politics or policy....to serve an Idea.

OK, YOU MISSED MY POINT! America is not the bully. America is more like he big kid trying to maintain order but bullies use us to enforce their passive aggressive will because groups like the UN have no spine to get dirty. They make us do it. You see bullying comes in many forms. The problem is in America it was accepted behavior for a long time among our own. Finally we are starting to dysfunctionally deal with the problem.

Do you remember the old Flag,

Well, that is a mantra of anyone who doesn't like or appreciate oppression. But likewise how are we supposed to deal with belligerent nations? DIPLOMACY? And when that fails and usually it does unless we have some kind of leverage well, what then?

You want the real enemy. GLOBALISTS AND GLOBAL CORPORATIONS. We have a constitution and a bill of rights in America but what of this so called "Global" Community? The MIC isn't the only problem and they are not the real problem. Banks and banking Industries, as well as many others have too much political clout and live nicely above our own laws.

So go ahead and try to make America itself look like bullies. We ain't in general. But piss on our shoes and see what you get. So why is it I am supposed to believe America really is that evil? Want an evil place to live? RUSSIA! GREAT GREAT NATION! Love the people to death. They are just as hard working as any American. But the fact of Russia is it is run by organized crime. PERIOD! When in Russia know who you have to pay your taxes too! But know everyone there will try to tax you some how. Does that make America any better? HELL NO! OUR CRIMINALS LAY LOW LIKE SNAKES AND RUN EVERYTHING FROM BEHIND THE SCENES!!!! I still would feel a lot safer vacationing there vs. MEXICO!!!!!

FRANKLY THE WHOLE WORLD SUCKS AND IT IS HUMANITY THAT MAKES IT THAT WAY! Not just America. I wish I could fix the mess here but one man cannot move this mountain and too many people sell out too readily!

serving my neighbors...my friends..and the people of my country who cannot defend themselves. Like the rest of you screw ups who never had the balls to serve.

I served for you.

Cause it is the right thing to do.

"All people are entitled to life..liberty and the chance for happiness" (My version of the Constitution)

Don't question me again with a condescending tone bro.

this makes sense. And I only returned the condescending tone, bro. (Look at the past posting on this page -- I only asked you the same question as you asked me. If you threaten me because I DARE to do that, then case is closed, you are a bully.)

What does not make sense is that your ideal may or may not match the actual result of the commands received from your superiors, which you executed.

You were told at one time to do this, or to do that, and you did that.

But you had no say in the operations, after you signed up for service, and what my point is, is that you or your comrades, some American soldiers served in the line of duty by carrying out commands that were not at all fulfilling your Ideals, but they were only fulfilling the insanity of an insane president who got into office by lying and cheating. I am talking G.W. Bush.

I don't know if you served in the forces during his administration. All I know is that he was / is a madman who ruined his country. Both domestically at home and internationally abroad.

The problem with Americans is that their propaganda machinery is incredibly effective. Only the very smart in your country is able to see the truth, which to the world is an ugly truth. The honest, hard-working, patriotic dudes like you and millions of others, put their faith in their leaders, and don't think for themselves.

Why? Because the American schooling system kills any incentive in students to apply creative analytical skills for themselves. Because the Hollywood movies always have two elements, and two elements only: the good guys, and the bad guys. There are no subtleties there. The good guys are always identified as the good American, and the bad guys, as the bad foreigner. Or the evil person. The movies are created so that the identifying by the viewer is always with the righteous. In tv, same thing. One-hundredth of the news reporting is of anything newsworthy in the sense that would make Americans open their eyes to see the truth. Mainly it's about murder, rape, winnigns, hollywood celebrities.

Maybe you think I am spewing generalities that are not true. I live close enough to America, and I have lived other places where I spake the local language. You will never find any nation on earth where an entire 300 million-strong citizenry will think of every action of the US as good, and will also think in unison which actions are good, and which are bad. This is unnatural, and can only be established by a propaganda machine that is sleek, effective, sly, invisible, false, believable, not to be trusted, yet trusted.

This is why you think that any affront or quesioning of American decisions is an affront of truth, liberty, happiness and mom and apple pie.

This is insanity, my friend. You will never see it. I never wrote this post here for you. You will not get one word of it. Your propagandized brain will reject everything and anything in it that does not concur with your propaganda-installed opinions, values, and patriotic commitments.

Yes, I was condescending. And not even because I was just tryign to show you how condescending you had been.

If you need any proof to show how blind you are to reality, consider this:

- you said in a "respect" thread that you show respect.

- you condescended to me.

- I condescended to you in return.

- you got upset emotionally because of my condescendence to you.

- this is so because your patriotically programmed and propagandized brain could not hold enough information together to see the compounded hypocricy of your expressions of: "respect" "always returned" "alwasy offered" and "I condescend to you, Wux, but you can't condescend to me, because I am stronger, here, I am even threatening you not to do it any more."

-----------------

This is what the world sees, my friend. You have no way of comprehending this thread; you may even fly some rockets over to me to kill me.

Then you will say that you never bully anyone else, but just serve your ideals.

What you are serving, in fact, is a complicated set of self-contradictory and self-illusionary beliefs, that can only congeal for a thinking human if he is first brainwashed and propagandized for his entire life by the American media, the American culture, the American patriotic belief that they are helping the world and they are the best people, by sheerly bullying every other country.
