I see you staring
off into a darker world,
where the clouds,
filled with tears,
create pictures against the bluest sky
Only time can decide
when they will fall upon the earth

Your blue eyes,
seem to be as bright
and brilliant
as the sun kissed forever
stretching to faraway lands;
they also seem to harbor
the trials and tribulations of hurt

What is your story?

Just as the day
has its night
your joy
has its pain
and yet
all storms will pass

Your blue eyes,
painted deeper
than the world’s oceans and seas,
seems lost in themselves
