Elohim though is a plural noun referring to multiple different entities/beings/persons. But yes, they are one God. That is why for example in the following verse it says in OUR image. If it's an OUR image, it can not be one singular entity. A "community" is one thing, referring to many people, or even as big as "city", or "state". Those are all singular but referring to mulitple people within those singular things. This also applies to what I'm saying. Is this verse a contradiction to the verse of "there is one God, even the devils tremble" or something like that? No, because the word "God" is not referring to a specific entity all the time. Thus there is one God, one AUTHORITY over us.
