Topic: It was awful | |

I got invited to a friend's birthday party. It was tonight. I got dressed nice, sprayed on the foo-foo perfume, and headed out. It has been over a year since I have gone "out" for a night on the town.
What a disapointment. Of the 4 people that I knew only 1 showed up and that was the birthday girl. She was busy chatting to everyone, as she should be. I was so bored it was almost to the point of a panic attack. I left after an hour. One lesson learned was I never want to do that again. I hate being the single at a couple event. |

Sounds like you need a hug big HUGSSSSSSSSSSS yes could be kind of lonely if you the only single 1 there you kind of feel a bit stupid or left out like it was more like a couples party then a birthday party

The only thing that helped me to stay there for that first hour was that I kept thinking, the other 3 I know will show up. But they didn't.
Thanks Cheer up. |

Thanks Cheer up. and I think it happens often to other people! You wished your friend "Happy Birthday" and got out for the night-next time will be more fun! ![]() |

Yeah, that's embarrassing and boring. But it still sounds funner than plain staying home.
