I got invited to a friend's birthday party. It was tonight. I got dressed nice, sprayed on the foo-foo perfume, and headed out. It has been over a year since I have gone "out" for a night on the town.

What a disapointment. Of the 4 people that I knew only 1 showed up and that was the birthday girl. She was busy chatting to everyone, as she should be. I was so bored it was almost to the point of a panic attack.

I left after an hour. One lesson learned was I never want to do that again. I hate being the single at a couple event.

The only thing that helped me to stay there for that first hour was that I kept thinking, the other 3 I know will show up. But they didn't.

Thanks Cheer up.

Don't feel bad that has happened to me on many an occasion!

Yeah, that's embarrassing and boring. But it still sounds funner than plain staying home.
